I think we need Suazo because he has such a good short burst of pace-if we are lacking creativity he can beat his man and score a ball out of nowhere. However if we are lacking creativity then crespo won't score because he's not as naturally gifted as Suazo.

I think you made mistake with Maicon and Maxwell..Anyway I would put Maicon as right back, Chivu as left and Samuel as central defender together with Matrix. Agree with rest. But who knows, maybe Adriano shows some class in training, so Mancini put him frim start. Well, i still hope Adriano go back to his old self one day...But ofcourse until than, those in form should play.

Materazzi was subbed against Hungary because of a thgh injury, he might not start, I demand Samuel - Chivu.

Please have an offensive LB since we might have trouble playmaking.

wow it's probably Materazzi's first injury in the past year (even more). I hope it's not serious.

If Samuel doesn't start next Sunday, that'll be realy ridiculous. Materazzi has always been the excuse why Samuel doesn't play, and now he's finally injuried, if Cordoba starts then I must say there's something wrong. Unless both Samuel and Cordoba start with Chivu on the left, it's still unfair to Maxwell.

all I know is that Cafe and Samuel will be together at the back while at LB it could be Max seeing that he did well against udinese last season .Im beginning to notice this on our forum : 'CHIVU MANIA':,even though he has done very well for us uptil now in friendlies and all, no one is daring to even bench him [ He's no God ] and Vieira will play because his mentality and leadership is important .

This is how we should play. Our usual 3 dm's and a non creative midtfielder like stankovic is ineffective. Solution - bench vieira and play both stankovic and figo. Samuel and chivu played together before at roma, so play them as cb's, play maxwell/maicon on the rb/lb for some much needed speed. Bench suazo aka martins volume.2/martins senior/mr. 1 goal pr 535 minutes played/whatever and deploy a player that can actually score goals.

in mind I would like the mid to be: Zanetti, Figo, Cambiasso, Vieira but I think Mancio will put something else
