Yes, but when you take into account the lack of running from Cambiasso, Alvarez, Kovacic and Guarin it kind of makes him rather important. Taider is a constant pressuring machine

Apprently Mazzari was pointing at the players to let Belfodil take the penalty. Ther was a conversation between Taider and Belfodil and then Taider ended up taking it.

Altobelli believes Belfodil has to be more selfish, has to be present in the box always and he should have taken the penalty. He should have imposed himself as he was the striker and Mazzari gave him the green light. According to Altobelli, Belfodil lacks striker mentality.
