Icardi is definitely not himself after Juve game. He hasn't moved as much and looks tired. He is the only player who has played every single game under De Boer.

Most of times, Icardi is marked with 2 defenders. He will not get any balls delivered to him unless he distracts them with his moves which he hasn't really done yet in the last few matches. With Icardi being static in the box, Mario, Banega, Perisic and Candreva wouldn't be able to penetrate into the box. It's icardi's job to drag out his markers and let free flow of our midfielders into the box.

What can Jojo and Gaby do? Drop deeper and get numbers into the box for more attacking alternatives. It's different when you have only Icardi in the box or Jojo/Gaby-Perisic/Candreva-Mario/Banega in the box at the same time. We have seen this done few times through Banega and Mario goals. Jojo and Gaby might offer alternative way of attacking as well with their wider technical abilities compared to Icardi.

There is no point of keeping exhausted Icardi on the pitch. He should be rested long time ago.

If you look back to Icardi goals, almost all of them were a meet up between a delivery and icardi looking for the ball.

A striker's job isn't just scoring goals but most importantly how to create a chance either for himself or others. Icardi was praised for his intelligence to sneak into a space but he hasn't done it much to release himself. If a crosser looks up to a striker and see him being marked by 2 or more defenders, what will he do? Look for alternatives. This is basically what De Boer has been whining about. Our players have not yet played as a team.

Icardi hasn't played his football for few matches. 1 or 2 matches on the bench would rest him and lift the pressure as well. He might come back with a bigger gangbang. Even the best player in the world needs some rest.

Just because some people want him benched, it doesn't mean "hate". Life isn't always black and white.

Icardi is too isolated at times, I think a Jovetic would make more sense since he could help find midfielders who run into space. Jojo was our best player in preseason and showed that he is in form with his national side, just give him the keys one time and don't play him out wide and we'll see how he does.

I think tactics and formations won't matter here. It will only be the players as a team who'll decide this match and either choose to be complete shit so FdB gets sacked, or fight for his position and win the game.

Not even D'Ambrosio's girlfriend dreams of him, but I'd be okay with that formation. I personally feel Icardi should spend some time holding Carrizo's hand in the bench, but this is hardly the moment for such bold statements like benching the captain.

Ansaldi tryed only 2 times, he wasnt even that bad. Still better then Nagatomo, of course Nagatomo plays? Miange, what happend with him? Banega? What about Brozovic, he is clearly bad and still got prefered over Banega and Kondogbia (the man who got kicked out for 6 games because of a normal rage quit, like gamers would say), Gabigol, 30 Milion and still played only 10 Minutes.

He also tryed stupid things like Perisic on the right and Candreva on the left. Or benching Candreva for a Eder who dont managed to play more then 70 Minutes against Southampton because he was already tired.

I cant really understand why so many people want him to stay. Even if we get Pioli or someoneelse. I dont give a fuck, SACK HIM!

Offcourse wingers can swap positions at times that is normal but no idea why fdb played perisic in the right last match, maybe its because he was worried of nagatomo since perisic can track back.

He played him on the right so as to accommodate Eder ( Eder being more comfortable on the left ) De Boer said as much himself in a post game interview.
