Based on what ? Total goals conceded ?! So what ? The point is we conceded a large amount of goals due to some blatantly stupid and amateurish defending. As I said somewhere earlier, we conceded 15+ goals from extremely poor defending from corners and free kicks. When you look at the big picture, we dropped an unforgivable amount of points because of our inability to defend. Had we been better defensively, we would've been 10-15 points better off. And rather than conceding 40 goals, we would've conceded 20-25 goals ! Now that's a massive difference.

If you don't think we had problems in our defensive game, then you must've been watching the wrong team. We coughed up leads too easily and often fell behind in games. We struggled to hold leads.

And Handa who saved our asses tons of times.

Last year we lost a lot of points because we didn't be able to win against little teams like Catania, Bologna, Atalanta.... It was a problem of attack, not of defence.

And last year, Handanovic woke up only in last games, in the rest of the season he wasn't decisive for us.

I've never doubted Mazzarri. The squad this year has improved a great deal from last season, our defensive game is what needed the most improving and I think it has been corrected. Still a long way to go, but I have no doubt we won't see a repeat of last season.

Now more goals conceded than Suassulol. It was all good just a week ago :megusta:

Ok, I dont want to sound Nyallisitc or anything but we played this team last year with a much shitteir squad and we managed to beat them 7-0 away. So if anything, this should be a bad sign, and we might end up with a similar or even worse season than the last one.

Inter scores a lot so what? We`ve seen this before, it doesnt matter if we scored a lot of goals in a few collective matches, I`d be happier with a 1-0 or 2-1 results that earns us 3 pts than to win a game 7-0 followed by draws and loses.
