Materazzi seemed to be at fault in all the three goals we conceded, even though the penalty they got was coz of Montella's dive. Where was Matrix when they scored the first goal, as it was Matrix's position ?? And even before Totti chipped the ball for their second goal, I was yelling - "Why the hell is he given so much space to shoot" !! And there he scored. I mean our players shouldn't had given him that much space and I guess Matrix was close to him that time as well.

Anywaz, it would be unfair to blame on Matrix, as our whole team was not at it's best in the first half.

Matrix is suspended for the Sampdoria game and I am in a way happy for that, coz it could mean that Cordoba might get to play in the middle again, where he does his best. Cordoba -- Samuel is the duo !!

Samuel saved our ass many times, and twice he kinda saved from sure goals !! :hopefull:

Recoba did have a good game but he could had done better, as same would go for Figo (not a bad game).

Veron had so many miss-passes all over the park, whch is not the real Veron we know.

I am very dissappointed with our first half and thus the result. After being down 2-3, we created so many chances that we could have easily made it 4-2/5-2 later on, but that's football. ;)

LETS GET BACK TO WORK ... J.ZANETTI, WE NEED YOU !!

:)

Recoba so do not have a good game. Zemaria is the worst man, then Chino is the second terrible. He just released a shoot if only he got the chance.

Some fans has counted the number of the shoots taken by Recoba in all 9 matches is 39, and the number of Martins' plus Cruz's is only 40.

I'm in good form :D

We won vs Udinese (I made the topic)

I will express something if I may on Julio Cruz.
he scores
I'm just worried that Mancini will start him vs Roma.

Adriano, our prayers are with you :depress:

FFS!!!!
So...Cruz scores...Adriano doesn't score...but you want Adriano to play and for Cruz not to get picked? he scores open "net" goals?
ps. Yeah..please Adriano our prayers are with you  ....wtf..

You sorry kid...

yes because that post was made after the Roma game was it? keep digging, you'll be in Iraq soon

LOL @ this entire Inter team. Can't believe @ the start of the season, I had a glimer of hope that things this season could be different. But that was stupid me.

LOL @ the fans too...after one bad match, they want Figo, Cesar and Veron out of the team...yet no mention of the biggest buffoon of them all, Marco "world class" Materazzi who has constantly played like sh1t.
But as of this moment, I'm gonna go back into the shell I've been in for the last 16 years in. Back to the don't get your hopes up shell. We're not in the same class that Milan and Juve are, and if we want to improve....we have to admit and beleive that first. Only a lethal Cassano can bring hope for me,

Materazzi unfortunately proved once again that he's not good against world class players..
His positioning was out of space..
Materazzi should be on the bench in big matches.
I don't want to blame just him, the whole team sucked.
We lost a big chance of getting closer to the top..
Our players had to play like mad dogs, but they played the whole 1st half like sissies..
If we lose against Sampdoria, goodbye Scudetto..

It's not immature to say that, as shahz_nerazzurri pointed..
Both Juve Merda and BBilan (especially Juve) are better than us, that's the truth, let's face it.. :(

I wish in a couple of months to be back here and ask by everyone here to forgive me about my last comment..
I wish Inter proves that I'm wrong.. :proud:

Ze Maria isnt Inter material, as i told u, he cant deliver more,
Figo was 10times better,
only Mancini knows why Adriano didnt start,
Matrix and Cesar arent the player to form a world class defence,
stop thinking about buying new attackers this is where the broblems is,
as i told u again...
it seemed like the team wasnt well motivated,
Roma had more caracter, with their limited abilities,
i blame Mancini to this,
the team wasnt fighting as a team,
Veron,Figo and Favalli tried for smth better but the rest wouldnt follow,
the championship isnt lost yet,
but its not in ur hands either,
we have conceded 2goals so far do u think u can keep up?

This inter has great material but i thinked u ve wasted another year

Such a disappointing first half! We virtually gave them two goals and I’m glad to see there are no lame excuses on the website for that situation.

Materazzi’s positioning was poor, but I don’t think you can blame him alone, the whole team looked weak.

At least we improved in the second half and it was great to see Adriano score. It is a shame that a dodgy penalty cost us a draw, but the team did come out fighting after the break and we nearly got a result. Reminded me of the Inter from last season.

Veron, Figo, Samuel and Cesar are the only ones who have performed this season, maybe even Favalli a little bit.

But Cordoba has been shocking at RB, Cambiasso is a shadow of his oldself, quite frankly i would start giving Cristiano Zanetti a run against teams such as Palermo, Roma, Porto, Juve and Milan. All big teams with strong midfielders, Cristiano handles that much better then Cambiasso does.

Anyway, all this talk about we were 'unlucky' or it wasnt a penalty. The fact is, we let in 3 goals against a roman team whos been shit for over a year... They killed us back there and i think our 2 biggest problems is wasting that RB spot for Cordoba and that Cambiasso is only playing like he can against small teams (livorno etc...)

It's a shame two people here want to single out Figo as being a bad player when in reality the one player in the midfield that should be singled out is Ze Maria for a poor performance.

Then again, its not suprising when your current favorite player is on your rival's team...

Read the posts before making such statements. I also blamed other players (incl. Ze Maria), not just Figo. Ze Maria played only 45 minutes that's why Figo was even worse. I will personally go and beat the shit out of Cruz and Figo if the keep diving like ballet dancers all the time. Maybe Cruz qwould've scored if had tried to do something else than watching the grass grow...

And keep Vieri out of this, I couldn't care less what he's doing nowadays and he has nothing to do with yesterday's match.

INTER 2009/10 !
Today although I lost at least 5 years of my life I'm a lot smarter...The facts are:

Cesar is a great talented keeper, but still not for Inter no.1..He should have been Toldo's sub this year,so he could learn and gain experience..

Our defence was leaking a lot because our CDs are slow and their counters were very fast..And it wouldn't be like it if Cordoba was CD..

Ze Maria is a pure crap..He touched the ball 2 times and both were mistakes..He wasn't in attack he wasn't in midfield,he wasn't in defence..total disaster..rate-1

Figo was one of the best players..His experience was very helpful, and I'm glad he is here..

Cambiasso seemed lost and tired in 1st half, but improved in 2nd half..

Veron was trying and showed some passion, which I liked,so keep it up Seba..

Cruz and Recoba were completely isolated in 1st half,Cruz especially..They also improved a lot in 2nd..

Adriano and Martins are coming back definitely..

Mancio...what to say..
1. Why did he play so defensively in a home match (which we were supposed to win) with Ze Maria???? HUUUGE mistake...

2.He brought out Recoba when he was playing very well, and was creating a lot..
I got an idea that he should maybe play as LM,as I've seen him running a lot and trying very hard..Well done Chino..

I am surprised at some of the negativity of some fans giving up on winning the title this season.

Although it was a poor performance last night, a few positives can be taken, like Adrianos goal and general play which should make him a starter for the Sampdoria game.

If this game is won we will gain ground with our 2 main rivals for the title playing on Saturday night.

Who says a good winning run cant be strung together?

Yes it was frustrating viewing last night with the mistakes made and the dive to win the penalty. I was shouting at the TV urging the team on to make a bigger comeback than the 1 made against Sampdoria last season at the San Siro. It ended up with some desparate crossing into the box when maybe some more patient play might have brought better dividends.

Plenty more games to be won. If we can win most of them and avoid drawing them like last season who says a serious challenge cant be made?

I remain confident of a serious challenge. Bring it on!!

No offence, but only someone who has supported us in few years or someone with extreme positive view about everything in life will make a comment like this.

For some of us who have followed this miserable journey, the result from last night combined with Gobi’s current form will rather be interpreted as another season flushed down the toilet!

After our 2-2 draw against Juve last season while people were praising our comeback and counting our useless unbeaten streak I said we are done and that is how it ended.
One more point gap between us and Gobbi and it is arrivederci for this season as well.

it was just plain stupid...

First it's Roma's unbearable inconsistency, that on some days they play like shit and others they play out of this world. As Inter's luck has it, they played excellent against Inter, and they should play shit against Bilan and Rube..
Second it was Inter playing defensively "lethargic", means they seemed to be there believing it's some after show party or something. If you don't take the game seriously and your opponent is on fire, you are pretty quickly behind with 2-0 and then it's almost impossible to come back.
I thought that Inter has finally found a winning attitude, but it seems unfortunately not. All hopes are on Milan winning it, otherwise the title is over! A derby win and Inter should be back in the game. As it is now, I have to wait to finally buy an Inter jersey with the scudetto on.

Mancini has been disqualified for two matches
"According to the Disciplinary Commission's official statement, Mancini has been disqualified because when he returned to the dressing room at the end of the match and caught up with the referee, he shouted numerous threatening and irreverent phrases at him"

Whatever phrases he threw at him, i am sure Rosetti deserved all of them :fero:

If Rossetti was a real man he would come out and admit that was a bad call on the penalty.

we would have tied or even won if the players had used their head, even mancini was yelling at them especialy after 30 min mark .... PLAY THE FUCKING BALL!!! roma def and golie could not handle 3 forwards with wings spread out and an advanced midfield ... the only thing that they could have handled was what we gave them, endless crappy crosses which they defended with 10 players in their area.

In the last 15 -20 min if cruz and martins stayed in the area, adriano closer to the 15-25 meters away from the goal area, figo opened to the right and solari (or recoba) to the left - maybe sometimes supported by the full back especially favalli on the left, veron and cambiaso in fron of the area .... made quick plays, move without the ball, and even croses in play (meaning that there aren't 10 roma players and 4 of our scrambled in the are in static positions), we would have gotten at least 2 goals in the last 15 min guranteed . Roma was under shock after the second goal.

Also adriano even though not at 100% was very inspired BUT HE DIDN'T GET TAKE A SINGLE SHOT after min 30 b/c he was in the area covered by 2 def at least !!!

In the last 4-5 min this kind of play was very easy to see we were getting the ball (matrix, figo, veron) and just launching long passes/crosses even though there were usully at least 7 roma players in the area at all times.

Forget about the first hald and the ref and whatever else, we lost the game in the last 15-20 min!

Mancini should've at least given him a beating, or send Materazzi after him (it doesn't matter if HE gets banned).

What a game. The referee was very poor and roma players keep playing fake injuries ti delayed time. But heads up, lads, still a long way to go in our Serie A campaign.
