A brace against Lazio incoming
Two shots on goal is too little, but as long as we beat Lazio, it was worth it
Honestly It feels relatively obvious that the goals for this season are Scudetto, Coppa Italia if we can, and Ro16 UCL. Everything else is a massive bonus. That we had so many issues and rotations and still made it through the group is to be celebrated. I was there when we couldn't beat Spurs to move through.
And I repeat, still first in the league. Y'all just becoming irrational because of all the good results lately. We ONLY have two strikers....IN A TWO STRIKER SYSTEM!! We keep losing defenders to long(ish) injuries!!! What more do you want from this squad????
I'm afraid of March's City, yesSo you are afraid of this season City? Fuck em
ExactlyHonestly It feels relatively obvious that the goals for this season are Scudetto, Coppa Italia if we can, and Ro16 UCL. Everything else is a massive bonus.
Priorities tho!Fucking disappointing.
Field our best XI against the #17th in the league and rotate in a very important CL match.
We must always be afraid of city. They can destroy each team in the world if they have a good day. For example Real Madrid last season.. the only good draw i can think off is dortmund and maybe this pathetic barca ar the moment. If we draw atletico it would be a disastrous game with simeone’s style of play.I'm afraid of March's City, yes
As it should be. All you need to do is look at our bench strikers. You don't bring sanchez and arna and expect to fight in all fronts.Honestly It feels relatively obvious that the goals for this season are Scudetto, Coppa Italia if we can, and Ro16 UCL. Everything else is a massive bonus.
Sounds like an interesting topic, that hopefully will be explored in the next Inter jections, by Jove!I’m honestly really disappointed about the approach from Inzaghi. I get wanting to prioritize the Scudetto but there is prioritizing and then there is what we saw tonight.
Do we think that making our road tougher in the CL will play out better for us in the long term? Just so we can be rested against a mid table Lazio?
Now when we get a big team in the next round we have signed ourselves up for two extremely tough midweek matches at a time where our rivals will most likely already be out of Europe completely. Now imagine we have City/Bayern/Real added to our schedule between Serie A fixtures.
It just doesn’t make sense to me. Unless we’re just saying we’re also going to rotate heavily in the knockouts. If I have to watch Sanchez or Arnautovic starting against a top European team I really might lose my mind.
I get wanting the Scudetto, but the money you can get from a deep CL run is equally important to this team imo. It’s what kept us from having to sell a big player just to cover our losses last year. If we win the Scudetto is that really going to have the same effect?
