Yeah..same here. Thank god about coolstream though. I was able to see Inter for the first time in the CL this year thanks to Coolstream. Yes its in Chianese but you don't see me complaining. Nerazzurro go to the "Coolstream" thread and download the program. If you have troubles using it, just email me.

Good show by Adriano and poor showing by us, most of our squad let us down as usuall, these young kids still got to learn more and now our title defence is over, good luck in the CL if you make the final I am all for it but rather see blue and white and ex-FCP Chelsea win it. anyhow it's late and I am really pissed but Inter should be very happy they have a ADRIANO!! anyhow good luck and it's been fun chating on this board, maybe if we face each other again you will see me.

I watched the game after knowing the result, so I was analyzing the game in serenity and I wasn't overtaken by emotions, so I think I will give a neutral view.
Overall, the team played well. We had a defensive approach, but let's call it Mancini's catenaccio. Unlike that of Cuper or any italian team, this catenaccio is more offensive. Our midfield had a defensive priority today, the trio of CZ -- Cambiasso and Stan were all mostly in our own half, and they did a good job and were barely noticeable.
The thing that worried me the most was Veron. If it wasn't for him, we would have won by a bigger margin. TWICE, he managed to screw up a 2 on 1 situation with Adirano, one by providing an appauling pass and second by failing to anitcipate correctly. Not to mention his unavailability when teammates pass him long balls, like from Miha, he is one place now and miles away the next moment. He is in a world of his own.
Materazzi played well, and that because Porto were pretty much playing with one striker, and even McCarthy was going back deep. Our midfielders, specially CZ made life easy for Materazzi. That's why he was good under Cuper, when the team plays defensively, he doens't have much to do and his mistakes are less obvious.
JZ had an excellent performance today. Such a shame his goal didnt' go in, he is a reflection of inter. So close to glory, but then...
Adriano had the most bizarre hattrick ever. He was presented with 4 difficult balls, and he scored three of them. His second goal was amazing, I still don't know whether he scored it with his left or right. I saw it with the left, but I keep reading he did with the outside of his right, what a goal.

He managed to screw up every good chance we had, except for that pass. But Adriano made that pass an assist, it's not like Cruz's when he gifted Adriano that ball.
That chance you were talking about was screwed up by Veron. Adriano gave him a good pass, but he changed his position. He did it on two other occassions with Miha. Miha sees him and he gives him a perfet ball, but he fails to anticipate where it would land, which is a trivial task for any midfielder.

10 years of FIFsorry mate, ive looked at all the rating on different websites. even at inter.it
Adriano was given 8 at some websites, the only closest player was Veron at 7.
what do you other guys think? and for the record, has miha broken a toe? :dielaugh: because in the last 2-3 games his corners and free kicks have been :yuck: atrocious :yuck: they rarely clear the first man. anyway

Inter.it's ratings are as subjective as a referee in a Juve game.
When we win, all players get a good rating, when we lose, only the goal scorer and the assister get a good rating.
Anyway, I wouldn't be too mad if Chelsea took Veron away. For I have identified a target for us that will solve our problems. A young stud that can play in either wings, or a playmaker, can possess the ball for along time and is an excellent dribbler.
He is my next target.

He acted stupidly in Barca, but I'm sure he learned his lesson by now. He got demoted and dumped by his NT. We have to take him under our wings and develop him.

No, not yet. I am using this Cuper avatar to combat my desires. It's a psychological trick, having the stimulus around may lessen your cravings.
But back to Quaresma, can you honestly say that he won't help us? HE IS WHAT WE NEED. Can play anywhere in the front, please let's not lose him.

Not a convincing win, but we should be happy to c Adri back to scoring sheet again with a marvelous hatrick and also am happy to c veron's performance which is improving since the udinesse match.
when porto scored their goal, i thought :scared: its gonna happen again and we'll suffer from losing concentration but thank god adriano saved us with his third goal. Next round is gonna be really tough, however we should face would be a tough side to beat. Even PSV and Lyon shouldn't be understemated cuz they really deserve our appretiation !
