Pls dont play Biraghi anymore, just play Asamoah and Dambrosio on left, or find a new LB, this guy is bad in both defense and offense.

Lol imagine Gagliardini, Vecino and Valero lifting the scudetto, it's easier to imagine Messi and Mbappi joining Inter this January for free.

In hindsight this was always going to be a tough game. Coming off an intense CL game with short rest and a depleted squad against a fresh team in good form is not easy. We still should have won.

These are the games I think we will win in a years time if we stick with Conte and continue to build the squad and our younger core continues to mature. I look to Liverpool and City as examples of how you build over a 3-4 year period and mature your players. Ferguson was always big about that too, he would always build his teams with the intention to peak and usually he would be thinking about what the team would look like 3 years in advance.

When I look at the core we are building now and where they can be in 3-4 years I think that’s pretty exciting:

Esposito: 20-21 (not really a core player, yet)
Bastoni: 23-24
Barella: 25-26
Martinez: 25-26 (admittedly will be hard to keep)
Sensi: 27-28
Skriniar: 27-28
Brozovic: 29-30
Lukaku: 30-31
De Vrij: 30-31 (prime age for defender)

Obviously a lot can happen in football and the transfer market is unpredictable. But if we have hold on to most of this core and let it grow together while adding smart pieces and perhaps a world class talent or two we can be a really serious contender in all competitions.

You missed out Vecino and Gagliardini, other than that I generally agree.

My current dream signings are Verratti, Robertson and perhaps Cancelo.

Verratti, now that's a dream signing. I can't even imagine that, to surreal.

I'm bookmarking this page.

If we win, you need to get a poorly drawn tattoo on your but off all these men holding the trophy. Also, Valeros beard needs to be your butthair.

So, back from Milan ...

It was the worst halftime I saw live and when you think Lukaku is frustrating while watching him on TV: Watch him with a bunch of people around you who went crazy after every wrong pass of him. The second half time was better, but in my awareness not much.

Btw: I was sitting in the first tier for the first time and have to say: The toilet situation isn't half as bad as in the second or third tier (or maybe it was my impression). But somehow there was water (I hope it was) dripping from the roof just in front of us. I also took a museum and stadium tour for the first time on Sunday: I recommend it to everybody who still think that renovating the Meazza is still better than building a new one. The bar and museum reminded of the Italian seaside coffee houses I visited as a kid in the nineties. Oh, and the beer I had during the match was the worst piss I ever drank.

Fresh team who'll most likely be a relegation battler and also had injuries. Didn't they not even have a full bench?? Didn't hear D'Aversa whining though. Karamoh played 34min prior to Saturday due to fitness.

We were poor. End of. Not picking on you per se, just overall. We played a poor game and time to move on and improve. Tired of hearing all these lame excuses tbh.

yeah...the whistling and shit from fans re: lukaku is pretty hilarious. I was caught off guard by it in all honesty. It kinda amplifies his touch/technique issues.

As I said we still should have won. Saying that a team is fresher because they didn’t have a midweek game is just a fact. The injuries is a fair point though, no way we should have a hard time with Karamoh. A goal and assist from him against us is embarrassing.

We do have a thin squad, for a team that actually wants to compete in all comps and not just participate. The only top team that manages to do this week in week out with a noticeably soft bench is Liverpool. However they have been playing the same system going on 4 years now, and still yet to win the trophy that requires consistent performances. All the other top teams basically have two good XIs. That’s where we need to go to compete with them long term. Unless we are comfortable being a perennial CL team with round of 16 participation.

Play the game of your life against your parent team, then when you are really supposed to do the same against our opponents and flourish, then get injured !! Hope, he gets back soon.

Yann Karamoh faces an extended spell on the sidelines after the Parma winger injured knee ligaments.
The former Inter attacker was forced off during his side’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina last Saturday, and a medical visit revealed damage to the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee.

It's Dimarco all over again. After his goal against Inter last season he got injured and he was sidelined for months.
