Doing the same thing and epxecting different results is the definition of insanity. :einstein:

A Rakitic deal would be yet another Nainggolan type of deal - least imaginable amount of upside, super high-risk of backfiring.

i don't exactly know what you want to say but Rakitic is someone who would be great for every club. Radja as much he was good, won nothing, didn't had the same experiences and the attitude problems always destroyed him. Rakitic is a top player.

Well, but the nainggolan deal sucked because we overpaid for what he was worth - even if he had been sober some of the time (of course the fact that he couldn't stay sober made the deal even worse). With Rakitic we would hopefully be getting a professional.

Mind you, it doesn't have to be Rakitic, but we need someone decent in January. At the moment our bench consists of the mediocre Vecino and a warmed-up corpse. At least I think Borja is warmed-up.

Rakitic isn't playing very physical, so his injury risk and longevity should be longer

Handanovic: Not much needs to be said.

Skriniar: Recovered well after being skinned by Gervinho twice early on.

Godin: Our weakest defender today. He really needs to step up.

Bastoni: A real dominant force in the air and comfortable on the ball. Promising to be everything Ranocchia was not.

Candreva: MOTM for me. Apart from the goal & assist, he was a constant threat while helping out in defence.

Gagliardini: Without being great, he was arguably our best midfielder for the 65mins. And then he lost his head completely.

Brozovic: A total circus in the first half, but kept it together somewhat and played his part in our dominant 2nd-half display.

Barella: Nothing special though his forward runs were too often ignored. Needs to go easy on the unnecessary fouls.

Biraghi: Abjectly bad at every level with no redeeming contributions. I’m sure he’s average performance will be much better than this, but we should start looking for new left-back or give Dimarco a chance.

Lukaku: A frustrating player, but a much improved performance. The team looked to find him a lot more and were frequently rewarded. At the very least, he’s not regressing.

Martinez: Looked incredibly dangerous, probably should have been kept on. Though his reaction to being subbed off was incredibly childish and sulky.

De Vrij: Obviously dearly missed in the starting lineup.

Esposito: Typical youth performance. Though if you’re going to bank on him to win you the game, at least bank on his strengths and let take a free kick.

Politano: Very frustrating and predictable. Though I can’t expect anything other than a frantic performance when Politano comes in as the frantic third sub. Not that we had options on the bench tonight, but he seem more suited to coming when we’re ahead.

So y’all fucking off almost everybody on the team, but it’s two games in a row now that LM has the game ball at his feet, and fails to convert, and basically end the game. And also on that counter where it was 4vs2, with Barella wide open to the left, he also fucked up.
But I guess he’s becoming a golden boy around here, so no one criticized him.
Id blame him more for today’s game then Godin or Gaglia or Biraghi.

Frustrating he may be, but in the meantime that's 6 goals for him. As for goal production, so far he's at Icardi's level (and I mean when he was actually playing for Inter, before he went on strike). As for taking part in the plays, that's never going to be his forte (but we knew that), but he does make the effort and if nothing else creates room for the other forwards/advanced midfielders.

Dropping points like this will come back and bite us in the ass,
One thing is certain , as previously thought and discussed, while Lukaku has physicality he lacks processing power , kinda like a outdated intel celeron , while the rest of the Field are packing i3 or i5's.

I saw that, Barella was even upset at an earlier chance he was free on the left and i think he headed it, then the counter comes and fails to pass him back even though he started it and was in a better position.

Lautaro def takes the blame, i think missed chances though are part of a strikers life, people talk about mistakes more and they should, without them Parma dont score.

It’s our fault as fans... who among us wasn’t laughing their brains out at Juve for tying....

Then we blow the lead against fking Parma!!

Let's see the positives:
1, We were better and created more chances, it's not that we were completely off the game and played shit. Before Conte, our bad results came from bad performances
2, Juve draw. It's a missed opportunity. Sure. But at least we didn't drop points off Juve.
3, Considering our midfield options at the moment, we should be happy to survive this period.
4, Candreva - MOTM

Nvm, I thought you talking about the counter.
But yeah, in that header im not even talking about that...I’m not blaming him for that.
But the missed one v one, he made an amateurish mistake, of removing his body from the front lane of the defender, thus giving the defender the edge to the ball..that’s amateur move by a striker. You always stay in front of the defender, especially when you running into the box and you’re already in the box.
And then right after he fucked up the counter, wide open counter...

Ah yes, a classic Inter performance. Whenever this club knows a competitor dropped points they manage to completely botch their game.

Far too many crosses and stagnation in attack today. The first 60 minutes were Spalletti-esque, and that isn't a compliment. Clueless, purposeless, and wasteful in possession. Our midfield with Gagliardini is not creative enough to make a difference.

Two Brozovic blunders cost us this game, so I won't put this one on Conte. The game plan made sense and we generally outplayed them.

Darmian's neck "beard" is cringe inducing.

Letting Politano take that free kick instead of Biraghi was an embarrassment.

The only positive thing about tonight is that there's no further proof required that we're clowns and losers and that our rivals have absolutely nothing to fear us, over the past few years this is the only thing we seem to be so consistent with, to be fucken losers.

Go ahead get a winning streak and get a +10 points gap above jube which will give the dreamers hopes then by May juBe ends up winning the league anyway, cause that's what we do best. Teams like ours exist to be a laughing stock to others and to make our rivals moments feel even sweeter.

But you never blame a loser for being a fucken loser, you gotta blame yourself for believing in a loser. I think that's why love is blind.

I need to get laid.

Today's game reeks of missed opportunity.
The whole first half was played without the appropriate urgency, and we generally looked devoid of ideas. The second half was much better, we closed Parma in their final third even though we were often chaotic in the way we attacked, but at least the effort and commitment were there. Too bad we couldn't find the winner. One could simply impute the draw to Brozovic's back to back blunders or to the disgraceful refereeing that robbed us of two penalties, and it's undeniable that with a bit more luck we could have still won. However, not even the three points would have changed the fact that we lack the depth necessary to play every three days without suffering sudden dips in performance. After the match Conte said that he's a bit worried because we're too thin in several positions and that something must be done come January.

Anyway, Candreva was our best player today. He was lucky on the goal, but all in all played a good game both in defence and in attack. Also, he's often been criticised (and rightly so) for trying his luck way too often, but today it looked like he was one of the few willing to take responsibility on their shoulders. While Tonino had a good game, his left wing counterpart Biraghi was rather disappointing. He didn't lack commitment, but his deliveries (and general involvement in attack) were poor. There was a blatant penalty on his, though.

Our midfield has definitely played better than this. Barella was once again the better of the three, fighting (almost) tirelessly throughout the game. He picked yet another early booking, which is becoming quite ridiculous considering that the first Parma player to be booked was Sepe at the 89th minute for time wasting. Anyway, he was clear two or three times but the ball didn't get to him. Gagliardini did what he could, but couldn't contribute shit in the second half's siege. Brozovic had a stinker. He had two consecutive brainfarts that overshadow whatever good he may have done in the second half. I think he's tired and should be given a rest, but we just can't, can we?

Handanovic could have done little on the two goals, just like the three CBs. Skriniar and Bastoni were OK I guess, even though they had a hard time keeping Gervinho and Karamoh at bay. Godin's performance was sufficient, but even as the centre of our back three he suffered a lot and got away with it mostly with thanks to his experience. De Vrij was brought on to help the team in the build up in the final assault, even though he's not 100% fit (Conte's words).

Lukaku looked definitely livelier than Wednesday, being quite involved in the build up and trying to open spaces for his teammates. He scored the equaliser and had another couple of half-chances. Lautaro was energetic as usual, but the only great chance I remember him having was the header that went just wide a few moments after the penalty appeal. I wouldn't have subbed him off, but then again we can't always play the same eleven players. Esposito did what has to be expected by a 17yo: he ran all over the place, trying to do his best to make something happen. And he almost did. He was OK. Politano played too solo. He tried to do all by himself and ended up messing up a few too many times. We needed someone with a cool head. Unfortunately, he was the only option we had on the bench.

As I wrote above, today we wasted a good opportunity. I believe by now we all know what the problems of the team are. We also know that there's little we can do at the moment, so we'll have to grit our teeth and go on like this, hoping that the management will do what needs to be done in January.

For what it's worth, Karamoh's screamer should have been disallowed for offside as a Parma player was offside and active in the path of the ball, blocking Handa's view of the shot.

Exactly like Dimarco's screamer last year. You can't write this shit.
