Palermo are pretty god-awful this season but they ripped Catania a new one on the weekend. Might be turning it around under Gasp. Thank god that little cunt Miccoli is suspended. Frankly, after the performance I witnessed yesterday, I'd make a few changes tbh.

1) Drop the 3 man defense. It had it's time in the sun but it's time to scrap it. A 3-5-2, 3-4-1-2, etc etc... are great if you have the midfielders for it. We do not.

2) Drop Capitano. A shocker I know. We love the guy and he still has lots of life in those legs but how much longer is this charade of playing him every single game going to last? In order to "build for the future", as Branca repeatedly likes to point out, we need to slowly wean out the past. Why did we buy Pereira for 10m? To play with our Academy players in the Europa League somewhere in the desolate reaches of Russia in a meaningless game? What a great investment. JZ offers very, very little going forward and his defense hasn't been stellar lately either. Give him a day off.

3) Play Ricky and Cou at the same time. I feel like these two can wreak some havoc up front if given a legit chance from the beginning. Not 5 minutes plus injury time.

4) Give Duncan a crack at it from the opening minute. Kid has some talent and is hungry for minutes. I have a good feeling about him for some reason.

i don`t prefer to play with 4 instead of 3 in the back for some reasons.... first we must know that the problem is more than that , we
lack attacking solutions , only cassano is making the attacking view acceptable , we need creative midfielders , fresh wingers , strong
substitutes.
second thing , players and coach will lose trust in themselves if we return to 4-3-3 , they found winning streaks in 3-5-2
third thing we don`t want strama to find easy ways to get out from losses crisis , only change the plan and u will be alright, and branca will continue sleeping and convincing us that we don`t need players in the winter mercato.
