I was able to see just about the last 10 minutes, and at least that looked really crappy and reluctant play. Juventus won 0-1 so we play against Napoli first.

It's always a shame to lose to JuBe, too bad that a combination of Toldo bad timing and bad luck (the ball hit the inside of the post and went in) meant that we lost 1-0.

Maicon! This guy rocks, he was our best player in my view, followed closely by Pizarro. Maicon looked always dangerous, good runs, some good crosses, he almost scored a great goal too. It'll be hard to keep this guy on the bench.

Pizarro kept things in midfield very tidy, defended and distributed the ball extremely well, surely a positive performance by him.

Dejan looked very good too, a couple of very good crosses, I think he might find himself more comfortable in midfield now without Veron.

Cambiasso was ok, very defensive though, he didn't see much of the ball.

How did Oba, Cruz and Adriano do? Which one of the 3 was the central forward and who were the wider players? Or did they all drift around? Very dissapointing to lose to Juve. But I guess it is early stages.

Adriano was poor, Cruz was invisible and Martins tried his best and did ok.

Maicon has some great skills though, first time i see this guy play, I never even heard of him before. He was impressive, he had some really nice dribbles.

Giorgio I'm watchin canale 5 using streamerone, check out the streams thread for details.

Cruz was more central, I think the strikers did ok, Adriano missed a couple of chances, Martins combined well with Maicon on the right in a couple of occasions. They can do much better anyway, Mancini was trying out the 3 strikers solution, it doesn't look like something we'll actually do for real.

Adriano played on the wing.I don't think that this is his place on the pitch, that's why he played not so good.Cruz played in the center(he had only one good shot) and Martins played on the right wing with Maicon.

You can see here that Toldo could have done better.

No more 4-3-3 formation please. Please let's ship one forward asap so I dont have to witness such miserable performance again.

The key question still remains unanswered though - Will Adri ever score from open play again?

Our goalkeepers situation makes me sick.

Something must be done.

It's pathetic.

Thank god i have canal5 and i am watching it...Lots of cute gals on the pitch right now
I had the same feelings :>

We won't play 4-3-3 for real? Than why did we played it today ? :p There is more guys in the team, and we have to start consolide the team.

Bad performance?

From what I've seen, we played Juve whatever we wanted, and they mostly counter-attack with the goal came after Toldo mistake.

We made lots of, lots of chances, and shots. We have to just consolide the team right now and play it a little more.

Cruz was playing central, with Martins as right forward, and Adri as left.

Toldo made the same mistake as always - missed the ball (rings a bell ? :p ). And why oh, why do we need Buffon ? Don't tell me we have Cesar, please.

I've seen Adri played quite good actually. Few nice driblings, and he wasn't so selfish.

Maicon - great player indeed, he was more in the opposite half of the pitch, than on ours :p

David made some great balls, and very nice plays. He was organising the play quite good.

It will be a lot different with rock - Patrick in the middle, and Zlatan in attack. Trust me.

And last. Guys! It's just a friendly !

ps. 4-3-3. I told you guys ;) There is no way we'll play 4-4-2 with players we have right now.

Okay, I don't care the results in pre-season if team's game is good, but today it was horrible. No team-play at all. Phucking lousy, lazy, selfcentered bastards.

I liked the way we played against juventus but against napoli...Maicon played well the first match but in the second nobody gave him the ball.

Great games by our midfielders and Maicon, the rest of the team was crap, including both goalkeepers.

You know what? I don't think Adriano will ever score again. This guy forgot everything about football. Maybe he should turn into a defender, atleast we can use his height and balance, nothing more.

And Maicon is an great example of a modern RB.

Ooh, Mancini conceded that Inter played crappy tonight. Maybe I was too harsh on first, there's still a month before our season starts, so Mancini tries different formations and so. But tomorrow, our whole squad will be at last together all of them, so real training can begin. From now on, we should expect more from our team.

Gee, we were pretty terrible, considering the amount of talent at Mancini's disposal.

Two-thirds of our strikeforce was present today, and they pretty much started where they left off last season - firing blanks.

We should get our act together, soon. Our pre-season friendlies have been a rather disappointing bunch, thus far.

Ciao,
Tim

Well we usually rule the summer friendlies and then don't deliver when the main event is on. So I rather have the team suck in the friendlies but rock when the real thing starts.;)

Yes. :D I'm more superstitious these days, so statistics like the aforementioned suprisingly bear more weight than they used to. ;)

We usually own preseason friendlies and suck when it comes to real games so maybe its opposite now? :D What comes to todays games only positive I can think about was brilliance of Maicon and good display of Pizarro. Our best striker was Choutos.. ;) Oh and after these games, Cruz+cash for Buffon? Yes please!
