How many games we deserved to win we went on to lose this season? Certainly this game was ugly by us, but I hate people generalizing our whole season out of this game. Wake up, only Bayern has scored more goals than us in the top 5 leagues thus far.
I will be happy we made ground on Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Lazio, Sassuolo and Atalanta in one matchday and maybe all of you should.

The problem isn't we won a game we didn't deserve to win. It happens. The problem was Conte's poor management of the game. We didn't pay for it tonight because Napoli were playing with Politano and Petagna instead of Mertens and Osinmeh. If he has a similar approach at another game we are going to pay for it.

Seemed like our defensive organization - or whatever amounted to it - went to hell the moment Achraf was brought on. Sometimes just adding numbers to the defensive ranks isn't any kind of answer, especially when the defender in question is hardly known for their defensive qualities.

Remarkably, it may have to do with the fact that Hakimi came on for a striker, so Napoli had no reason to defend and attacked in more numbers despite being with less players.

Plenty of bad things about tonight, but how people can sit here and just bitch without even acknowledging the success baffles me.

But that's why FIF is dying as a forum. It's a toxic shithole, and if you're a new forum user and you see crap like this, you'd go somewhere else too. This is why most of our sustained posters are >5 years, rather than anyone recent.


We have a coach who, with many failings admittedly, has taken us from 15 minutes from 5th to 2nd to now competing for first. I'm disappointed with the CL exit this season and tbh felt he should have been sacked for that arguably, but we're now 2nd in the league with 1 point behind ac milan somehow playing on god/ibra-form. If people are too miserable to even give a nod of appreciation to that, I'm looking elsewhere for a football community.

I've taken my time off from FIF over the years, at least 3 big gaps I can think of, but I think this time will be permanent, or at least until there are major cultural changes here. At the end of the day, I watch football for enjoyment, and seeing a bunch of incels crying at a win detracts from my enjoyment of the sport. I've no beef with two sides to every coin and having fair, informed, interesting and healthy discussion/debate, but this place is a toxic shithole where you cant do anything right and people who actively hate on Inter seem to rule the roost.

The minute Brozo was subbed off I expected Inter to win. I don't understand why some are angry at Conte for defending. Roma and Napoli are two tough teams to beat and any coach that doesn't defend well will lose points against them. Conte seems to have leared from our Coppa Italia loss against Napoli last season.

Juventus wins titles with atrocious penalty decisions and nobody remembers after 1 week the cunty ways they win.

Even today, and probably next game as well, they will have penalties on their favor and generally refs on their favor. Var no var, doesn't matter for them.

That’s just football, sometimes you have to do ugly things in order to win. How many times have you guys complained when we were a goal behind at the end of a match and suddenly we start attacking with the whole team and at the end don’t score a goal? It’s just how it is. Every team in Serie A does it. It was towards the end of the match, the players were tired, tension was high and we decided not to risk the three points, sit back deep and try to take advantage of the counter attack situations. It’s just nornal Serie A, has nothing to do with Inter or Conte being pussies.

I’d prefer an ugly win over an entertaining draw or loss.

You guys just have to find something to bitch about. I don’t think it’s entirely you but certain individuals on forum who take every freaking chance to hate on Inter have finally got to you.

For once try and focus on the positives. We won against a tough opponent, sitting 2 points from the leaders, finally stabilized the defense and stopped leaking goals like earlier and we are the second team with goals scored in Europe just after Bayern.

We are the second attacking team in Europe and some of you guys still bitch we have a loser mentality. I’d imagine even if we were the best attacking team you’d still say the same shit. You need your brains checked but again not your fault, probably certain idiotic comments has got to you.
