Actually Tommi, that (midfield, long balls) is also one of the reason on why I want Adriano to start instead of Vieri. Vieri needs the midfield to perform well for him to do well. He's one of the best when it comes to being a fox in the box but he needs a good midfield and honestly, I believe we don't have any. Moreoever, against the hardworking 5-men midfield of Milan, things could get worse for our midfield! Especially when I want Cambiasso and C.Zanetti to start in the middle to stop the Milan midfielders and these 2 are renowned for their uncreativeness. Deki, who sure as hell is gonna start as a left midfielder, is still in a bad form and I don't believe he'll create enough chances for Vieri. I don't know about Veron, he has been in a good form as of late but I have never like him so...
Whereas with Adriano, at least he helps the midfield and when he wants to, like against Porto, he can passes the ball much better than Vieri. Adriano would also be more dangerous when it comes to counter-attack compared to Vieri since he's faster and is better with the ball.
I believe the key to beat Milan is not to create for our strikers because our midfield is not competent enough to do that and it's made worse by Milan's quality midfield. Hence, Adriano who is less dependant on the midfield, is a better choice for me.
But Tim made a good point too. But we risk a lot in that plan since we don't know how Adriano would react to being benched in the biggest game thus far this season. I'm still all for him starting.

The difference is, Hernan Crespo was one of my most favourite player after the season 02/03. I even supported him when he was in Chelsea. I was very close in getting an 03/04 jersey with his name on the back. I have never liked Seedorf and besides, I was kinda expecting a defeat in that match even after C.Zanetti's goal so my reaction when he scored was ---> because I just can't believe why the hell am I supporting such a $hitty club.The_Egyptian_Interista said:Then what did you do when Seedorf scored that late cracker in the 3-2 game ? :depress:
