I wouldn't joke with Juventino, coz as Pepino Prisco said, when I shake hands with Juventino I count my fingers!!!!

And if you say to a typical Juventino that they paid the ref or their goals were offside they say: Look at the standings! :frustrat:
Same goes for Milan fans as well when you say to them about their lucky, undeserved victories, but they are more friendly.

Definition of typical Juventino: A guy that claims he's a Juve fan, never watches Italian football and mocks the rest of us (Inter Milan Roma...) coz they are top of the league :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

Remember though, all who lament about the player's friendliness amongst each other in the 2 camps - that amicable relationship is a byproduct of the fans' own relationships.

I disagree with this completely. Not all of our players are friends with them, it's few. Have you seen the last game when Veron gave Crespo - his pal from Parma, Lazio and Chelsea - a tough tackle? How about Cambiasso and Kily roughing up Kaka and co. Players' friendship isn't the reason why fans are friends - if they are - it's that Juve have gained our hatred.

When I grew up and first started watching soccer, the team I loved had a rival from the city. There were two other teams in the city and big clubs from other cities as well. However, this rivalry was intense, I still shiver when I remember those moments. Peopl were, and still are, divided on this issue. That's how we used to identiy with our friends, if he liked my team the I liked him.

My brother was a supporter of the other club and we always used to fight. Our teams itself had brothers against each other, but they never used to kiss and hug during the game, they would've been targets after the game. This rivalry was never about trophies, it was about pride. And yes, we had players' swaps, and it didn't change anything about our rivalry.

Also, even if/when i, Hamed and few others go to watch Milan derby (together? :D), we wont sing songs where we say "we love you Milan", "we hate you less than Juventus" etc.

Sure we would. Actually, I just finished dusting off my ship and I was planning to sail to Milan to see the derby. However, being a good man, I will take a detour and pass by Finland, but don't miss me, be on the shores.

And Helal, ok... what the heck, we'll pass by Australia while we are at it. Just give me which exit to take, the last time my sailing buddy went to Australia, he got lost and we never heared from him.

BTW Helal, my nick is Mido. Not that I am called by it alot anymore, but my mom still does. Hamoudi is nice nonetheless!

I didn't even say that all the players were chummy with the Milan ones. I said that the friendliess that exists in general is an end result of the less than hostile, somewhat amicable relationship that now exists between the 2 groups of fans. And i think you have it mistaken. I wasn't talking about the fans' view of each other as a direct result of the players being friendly with each other, but the other way around.

Like Handoyo mentioned, everyone has a preference for the club they hate most. I just find it sad that so many have foregone what should be a traditional, eternal rivalry for something else. But, whatever floats your boat.

Ciao,
Tim

All right, I misunderstood you. For me, Juve is the number one enemy. I don't know about rivals, maybe the fact that we haven't won for a long time has an effect also. If we exchanged title reigns with Milan, maybe we would've developed something.

You wanted to come with me and Tommi to the derby, right? So out of the generousity that is me, I will take you in my boat. I just want the sailing directions, which exit is Australia? Exit 49, 45 etc... That's how highways are recognized in Canada, maybe you don't have highways in Australia.

And actually, my other nick was Hamada. Oh man, you are reminding me of the good old days, no stress, no pressure, no responsibilities, just playing soccer the whole day and goint to school. :crybaby: Come back childhood, I beg you! :cry2:
