Dida had the chance to move out of his penalty box when he knew things were raining down. That way, Dida could have avoided being hit.

Well yeah Dida could have avoided the flairs but man nobody thought that the Curva Nord will do that cos it has never happened before so Dida like everybody else was cought off guard. He thought it can not happen cos i guess he like most of us thought the curva nord are more civilized

It happend to Dida vs roma as well. So he should have moved. Still doesn't take away the pathetic actions of the curva nord. But could have moved.

Dida is like a robot, he has no personality.

So damn true!

Miki I can only admire the strenght with which you defended your point.

To me, it doesn't make sense that he would risk the rest of his season, if not his career (that flare almost hit him in the eye!) just to piss us off.

Also, we did ruin their celebration, he certainly didn't want that.

CAUGHT OFF GUARD??? He was bending down to pick up a bottle when the flare hit him! Yeah, so he was caught off guard by the sudden increase in rubbish around his area huh? You must be kidding yourself!

I don't believe this, really. You're so desperate to protect Dida that you're resorting to this to make your point.

I'm not protecting anybody man!Its just your comments are so lame that they don't make much sence to anobody except you and some of your friends here.If some neutral fans read your comments they would have a good laugh!

No offence ;)

Keep up the good work Miki ;)
Im sure we would not have been ounished the way we did if Dida would have acted like a normal human being and moved his butt minutes before he was hit. Curvans intention was not to harm anyone BUT to stop the game.

For what it is worth, I am including the letter that I wrote in the next post. It doesn't matter what happnes to it, I just want to do my part and rest my conscious after thes tumoltuous days.

I wanted to send it by my e-mail, but it would look more legitimate if we send it from a forza-inter.com e-mail. I gathere the e-mails were it could be sent, hopfully accepted and in the slightest remote chance read.

To the soccer world,

Last Tuesday was a dark day for us inter fans. Not because we were knocked out of the Champions League, but because we lost something dear. Our image as a model club was tarnished by a few of our own, and we found ourselves in an unfamiliar position. For us inter fans, the name Internazionale is synonymous with integrity, honesty and principles. We might be a mockery for some due to our recent lack of success. However, few understand the league our team plays in. Year after year, we grind our teeth and earn every single point we get. All the while, others get freebies thanks to their behind-the-scene power. We could write books about that, but this is not what the letter is about.

This letter is about those horrible moments that felt eternal. It is about those revolting moments at the San Siro where we saw our image being burned by flares and beaten by umbrellas. We knew that this was not what inter is about. We have endured torturous Sundays and Saturdays supporting our club. Our love for this club has never decreased, not in those tough moments and dark days, if anything, it has increased. We want to win and earn our wins by our sweat, not by our powers. We would rather endure droughty years than get a tainted trophy. That is why those images were hard on us; they were against the very essence that the name Internazionale stands for.

Those fans that did those disgraceful acts might have acted out of anger, but nothing justifies it. The perfectly legitimate goal that was disallowed, combined with certain episodes in the game, reminded the fans of what we have to deal with week-in and week-out. Those fans acted not like inter fans, but like angry humans letting go some of the bottled up emotions. Unfortunately, they chose the worse occasion possible to do so.

At forza-inter.com, we represent about 500 inter fans from around the world. Strangers from China to Colombia and from Finland to South Africa, all joined by one heart beating black and blue. Some of us understood and justified what happened, and some were distressed and disgusted by those scenes. But we all agreed that this inter that is being vilified in the media is not the inter we love. We want the world to know that our club and our fans are against wickedness in the beautiful game. We are against corruption and violence, two evils that our club never stood for.

At the end, we want to tell our fans to look with optimism towards the future, to keep supporting our club and to never forget what we stand for. We conclude by the following words from our song “Pazza Inter’:

Nerazzurri
Non fateci soffrire
Ma va bene, vinceremo insieme

Which translates to:

Inter…Don’t make us suffer
But it’s okay, we will win together

Sincerely,

www.forza-inter.com

Well done Hamed.
Although mine would've been a little different. My last line would've been something like this.

ps: anyone who can help us find the whereabouts or details of Markus Merk, it will be much appreciated, as we all want to "apologise" to him personally. Please contact us diemarkusmerk@hotmail.com

Mine too! :D

And regarding Tim's post about Dida being stupid enough not to get his freaking ass out of there. I kind of agree with him. Anyone with a brain, will get his own ass out of there when he sees all the flares and rubbish being thrown onto the pitch. If he was there picking litter, then I can only say, Thank you for being a darn good citizen, for keeping the environment clean. But man! You have no freaking brains!

Did I say so? Please do not act as you dont get my point. What I'm saying is that if he was not hit then our punishment would not have been as severe as it is now.

Thanks all, I hope it gets published in goal.com, that's the only place where they publish fan letters. It's also a popular site worldwide, despite it sucking. I wish I was a journalist, I could've opened a better one.

The world has to know we aren't some evil team. The english media are just publishing that incident over and over, they are upset why we didn't get punished severly. They are trying to tag us with shameful lable.

Well yes but if the Curva nord really love Inter they would have think before acting like they did. They harmed their team and a real fan would never do that
