Just on this day I don't care anymore about 4-0-0 (7:0) vs them this year. I want revenge for that 3-2 loss last September. De Vrij from the corner if it is possible.

I think we are better than them. But those motherfuckers had some serious luck in the last derbies. Still can't forget how we gifted them Scudetto 2021/2022 when we lost in the derby 2-1, while being a better team on the field and had a lead 1-0.
They were fucking lucky we were the better team totally dominating the game.

I really want to see not only we defeat them but also we crash and humiliate them with a complete blowout.

80% of the team to their national teams. I'm worried about Lautaro, Alexis, Cuadrado that they have to go and return to South America. They are expected to arrive in Milan on September 14, two days before the game

Greetings Milan fan here looks like this is the thread for me. This should be a very interesting match. For me Inter definitely has the advantage especially in defence but it's a derby so you never know... Believe me we want revenge but we aren't delusional we know this is a tough match but I'm glad the two teams are strong once more. I think we've learnt something from those 4 derby losses though. Our midfield has been revamped and the style of play altered so there will be some growing pains. Inter has some new players as well and no Lukaku who I think was particularly annoying. I think this will be quite a close match..

5 players from us and Lazio. If Acerbi wasn't injured we'd be the most represented team.
4 from Napoli and Roma.
2 from Juventus...
Zero from Milan.

Wait, so all 4 of our strikers are going to be away on national duty?

That's not a recipe for disaster at all.

It is indeed unfortunate, that Milan match is after the international break. Inter had the momentum for this match and had no major injuries. Gosh knows what will happen with the qualifying/friendly matches. Best of luck. Grande, now I've jinxed it.

If we can shut down their dribblers - Leao, Pulishic, Lotus chick, we will be fine.

We didn't lost Scudetto because of that derby defeat. Scudetto was lost because we neglected "less" important matches. We were way too naive back then. It's not like we are the best team out there, but at least it seems like there is an improvement in this area, and the group seems to approach games VERY carefully and focused.

I think both teams would theoretically be happy with a draw here so as to not lose momentum post international break.

This feels like it could be one for the ages, but I actually foresee quite a passive derby, bar any massive events in the first 15 mins.

I might actually miss it, which sucks. Will desperately be searching for a sports bar.

If 98 yo Eden Dzeko was murdering Milan defense like Donald Trump murdering the US constitution for 4 years then I believe Thuram would go full Ted Bundy on this pathetic parody of a team

I think we were asking for trouble against Simone's system last season. That 2 v 5 midfield tactic was madness. This season with the 3 man mid and inverted fullbacks will even things up a bit although we will give up the wings to your wingbacks. Those switches of play to Dumfries and DiMarco are very annoying especially in transition. There's not much pace in the team but Inter uses what they have well and always look dangerous on the break. What Fiorentina did was absolutely suicidal. That painfully slow buildup was tailor-made for punishment on the break. Remains to be seen what Pioli's approach will be but I think we will have learnt some lessons this time around..

Good thing their momentum will also be stopped by the same international break.
