Yeah he made some wonderful runs. Too bad they didn't end up to goal. But he has that eye and ability to make those long runs. Very valuable player when that midfield gets to know each other better.

Why are you complaining about he penalty? That's the best way to win the derby and surely the most painful for Milanisti.

I am against soft penalties, also given the history of them being awarded throughout Serie A to certain teams and them actually having big effects points wise, but it seems debatable and Milan didnt protest so..

It's pretty clear that the players do not have any idea how to sit out the game, soak up pressure when we are leading. We leave far too much space between the lines. Gagliardini and Vecino might not have the characteristics to be a pure defensive midfielder, but they could try to hold their line deep if Spalletti just instruct them to do so. This will be a problem whenever we face a good team. Even if we manage to score first against Napoli or Juventus, they will definitely equalise and score some more.
We are also missing Joao Mario today in the second half. Usually, we have him to relieve pressure and bring the ball forward from the midfield. Without him, the ball either ends up to Nagatomo or Miranda who will proceed to boot an inaccurate long ball. It aggravates our defensive issue as they have no choice but to defend again and again.
That being said, when it's our turn to attack, we have the quality to always make them suffer.

Despite the win this was a bad game from us. Milan are in crisis and in 8 games have scored only 12 goals, two of them against Inter. Inter that in 7 matches conceded only 3 goals, against this shitty Milan concedes 2 goals?!

First half was pretty even, but in the second half Milan were way better and if it wasn't for that lucky penalty in the 90th minute we would've tied with this pathetic Milan.

I don't know how much longer our luck will last but I hope it last till at least January when we can by a decent midfielder at least. Meanwhile Spalletti needs to do something. Our luck won't last long.


On a completely different note, Montella just said that whatever happens he remains grateful to Milan. He could be on his way out.
