If we're gonna not take advantage of the 8 point lead we have over Roma, knowing that we have the most important game yet on tuesday, we'll be the biggest morons on earth. That means our coach, but I'm yet to be proven right, so fingers crossed.

There is no way we should play with anybody from the first string, apart from Julio Cesar and our lifelong youngster JZ. We have to be fresh, we can't allow any injury to get us one game before the big game.

It should be like a 1st round of Coppa Italia game to us.

If Figo wants to play with Liverpool, he should play whole match, or atleast 80+ minutes and show he is strong enough.

Suazo definitely needs to play. We need to take advantage of Livorno players physical condition since they just played yesterday. Also because we do need to rest Ibra & Cruz for The Pool.

Suazo-Crespo upfront sounds good to me.

Livorno held Milan to a draw yesterday, so we shouldn't really be taking them lightly. But considering our Liverpool game, we definitely should rest a few key players, like Ibra, Cambiasso and maybe even Zanetti. As much as I hate dropping points in the league, the game against Liverpool is far more important.

I saw their game v bbilan last night and to be honest they could've and should've even won the game. They had a good passing game and didn’t really show any respect to heir opponents (and why should they? ).

We certainly need to take all 3 in order to keep the distance to Roma.
Seeing that our CL adventure restarts again we will sooner or later drop unnecessary points along the way. So we better make the most of it while we can and win our last game before facing Liverpool.

I really hope to see Maicon v Liverpool – and for that to happen I believe he would need at least a half preferably a bit more in this game without feeling any pain. Out of our key players (if needed) I believe we should rest Ibra and Cuchu (I would inc our captain but I don't think he needs any time off) – the rest should play as we have way too many players out in order to gamble here.
Let’s hope we can finish the game with 11 men on the pitch and that their players don’t jump in their penalty area with their arms all over the place.

Agree w/ Jz. 8 points gap isn't much. We need to get points while we can. Isn't Roma meeting Juve this weekend?

The thing about playing key players, even though they probably don't need rest, means we're taking chances of new injury *knock-on-wood*

But then again, with so many key players are already out due to injury, our options are either playing key players who are not injured, or..playing with half B-team like we did against JuBe. Except for Cruz, pls, he really needs a break.

What more important than the method we win the match is, obviously, that we rest the players ahead of the clash against Pool in the mid-week. The obvious names have been mentioned here (Zlatan & Cambi). I really do not mind risking dropping 3 points against Livorno just to eliminate the prospect of losing our key players through injuries suffered in this match.

Roma are playing Jube. We can extend the 8 points to a 10 or 11 point gap. I want to win. We should be able to beat Livorno, they dont have a bigger side than us, add the fact that they have played just 3 days back and fitness levels wont be the same as they were against BBilan. Surely their backups cant be as good as ours.:stuckup:
