Random PL games? They’re fighting to try and win the most challenging league in the world
Lol, yes it is very challenging to play against Burnley, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Leicester.
What about al these fixtures exactly makes it more challenging?
I love how you're diverting the discussion to your opinion when the original comment was how Inter was treated before and after the game... But anyway, I'll play along.
and they can’t afford to drop anymore points. This is where I wish you actually watched other leagues so we could have a proper discussion
Whereas I wish you actually watched any football outside of the PL so that you wouldn't sound like a complete knob each time....
You realize that you picked some random games out of this 1.5 month spell you decided (as if we're in the form of our lives) just to say a bunch of nothing?
Since the turn of the year (ie. 1.5 months since we are in the 16th/dawning 17th of the 2nd month) they played Chelsea away, Shrewsbury at home for the cup, Arsenal twice in a mickey mouse cup, Brentford home, Crystal Palace away, Cardiff at home for the cup, Leicester at home and Burnley away.
We played: Lazio at home, Juventus at home for the Supercoppa (120 minutes), Atalanta away, Empoli for the cup at home, Venezia at home, Milan, Roma for the cup at home and Napoli away.
Against Chelsea they were without Alisson, Robertson and Milner had his 6th start of the season.
Against Shrewsbury they only used 3-4 starters.
They used mostly starters against Arsenal the first time. Was a one sided affair where they couldn't unlock a defense and Minamino missed two open goal shots, including a last second completely free goal.
Were without Salah and Mane against Brentford.
Some slight rotation against Arsenal in the 2nd semi.
Mostly starters vs Crystal Palace.
Some rotation vs Cardiff.
Mostly starters vs Leicester, still without Salah and Mane.
First time they played their starters in months against Burnley.
Apparently this is a good enough sample for you to say whatever it is you're trying to say. Who cares if they can or cannot afford to lose any points? What kind of language is that anyway? Who can afford to lose points? They were playing against minnows and they treated those games as such.
In the meantime, Inter played all those high intensity, high pressure games with virtually no rotation apart from the Empoli game. We could not afford to rotate. They could. They even missed two of their most important players during this stretch.
