Hopefully the strike will happen. Gasperini would have one extra week with the players and little more time with the new additions coming the last days of the mercato. As we are a bit mess at the moment, extra delay would be very welcome.

Honestly even with all the problems we have i don't think we need more time and especially more players to beat lece . If this is the case than i can assure you that whoever player comes in the last days won't resolve our problems .
If gasperini isn't able to beat lece with the same team of last season - eto'o + 3 new players that he shouldn't call himself a coach .

On the other side lece would miss 3 Cb this sunday through injuries so it would be easier for us.

Another advantage would be if you see our rivals. Milan would probably miss ibra and aquilani , pato & robinho just came , Juve would profit even more than us from the time while roma is in a shit situation right now so for me if serie a starts this weekend would be very good.

Most importantly i can't stand another 16 days without real football .

Inter will play vs Lecce on the 21st of December and this weekend Inter will have a friendly match vs Chievo. I want to see Sneijder in the squad this time!

It's not about beating Lecce. It's about new players coming (if they ever come), to have time to understand wtf Gasp wants, to meet the teammates and to know better about how it goes. Not much of a time, but still would be somewhat useful.

Most of the players will be away on international duty in this break so its not going to help much imho.
