Lazio will be a dark horse this year I think. Unless we can pinch M-S.

I'm more on the side of brehme and n4l, even if it's for different reasons. We will still struggle with a bench like that throughout the whole season and out first team isn't really world class either.

I do believe Conte is a world class coach.

This is like a horror movie series, you know what’s going to happen in the next chapter but it still gona gives you nightmares when you watch it. I think Cunte is going to die in this movie.

I can't believe what is worse Candreva starting , or some of you thinking we actually have a suitable candidate to start over him.

To echo Wera! On paper our team is not sufficient for the whole season...

But I am sure alot of us will be interested to see how we work on Conte system.

Candreva has been ok under Conte actually in preseason, he still isn't some genius in any way and never will be, but in Conte ball he is useful... Stop with the blind hate... Changing opinions based on reality is ok thing to do

Impressed that Atalanta came back from 2 goals down to win, that too away from home. How many times did Spalletti manage to win the game after conceding first in his two years at the club? Like 2 games out of 20 probably?

Under Spalletti (and those before him) the team was so mentally weak. Conceding first immediately meant that a win was out of the question, even if we conceded in the fucking 3rd minute of the game. God forbid we'll concede against fucking Lecce but I'm curious to see how we handle similar adversity.

Atalanta are probably the best team at winning from comebacks- last season many of their wins came that way. They tend to not panic and keep playing their style.

Kind if curious to see how they do next week as I think Torino is one of those teams that makes them struggle with their style.

The official line is that it’s to do with predictability. I read that Spalletti became much too predictable based on the players that were called up and on the squad list. As a result, Conte has elected to go without. I never knew they were optional.

Very far from it actually. I saw the match and Gasperini demonstrated balls. He replaced a defender for Muriel so in the 2nd half started to play with 2 central defenders , his 2 wingers very high , Zapata , Muriel with gomez behind closing Spal in the box

More like 65k brutal SM-fans to witness Candreva and Vecino starting. Only Dalbert missing to make it an orgasmic hattrick.

I wouldn't say that to be honest. We have a great and loyal fun base which would support us no matter what , true , but Conte has made everyone believe that we can win, something for which everyone should give credit to him and i think that counts for at least 5k fans more on average.

Tell me one reason why you/everyone feels stronger today in comparison with 1 year ago ? We can't say that our transfers were spectacular or that we signed for sure better players then the ones we had last season before the start. Basically we have replaced Icardi with Lukaku , N9 with Barella , Miranda with Godin and lost Perisic/Keita while getting Sensi/Lazaro. In paper some people can even say we are weaker but yet we feel confident and that's because of 2 reasons in my opinion Conte and Marotta actions with the Perisic/N9/Icardi cases which like it or not shows a more solid club.
