i said we need more quality in the midfield, but i have to add that we really could use a good full back, too: we have a lot of FBs, but none of them is actually good. maybe telles is decent, but nothing more than that and he lacks defensive skills.

I would not consider that goal down to the formation, it was not an orchestrated play, as we won the ball high and Perisic was not on the wing, we finally played one quick through pass through the middle to a proven finisher and that was that.

Why do you think he wasn't out wide on the wing as before? Well I'll tell you because we were playing 4-3-3 thus moving him more central i.e. closer to Icardi. I can assure you if we were playing 4-2-3-1 he wouldn't have been in said position to make such a sweet assist.

The team just collapsed. After we equalized we pushed for the second goal, but melo was symbolic for the state of mind of this team including the coach. We had huge fuck up's. Not only from melo. Unnecessary fouls and really dumb passes and bad touches.

I'm enraged still. Because Melo was just bad decisions were made on Mancini's side as well.

Just an awful game. Terrible ref, terrible game by us, really not a good game by them as well. Just when this year was ending so perfectly in many aspects of my life. Oh well. Get your rest boys and come back stronger.

Yeah, the moment I saw that starting formation, it send red flags all over.

Today confirmed again what I've know for years, Mancini will never be a top manager nor a manager that can build a great team. No top manager or anyone that expects to build a team to compete in Europe would ever start Melo and Medel together in midfield, hell most top managers wouldn't even start one of the two, such limited players only start in top teams if they're defensive beasts ala Makelele, neither Melo nor Medel stand out defensively over other DMs.

And the worst of all it's that he insists in that horrible midfield while Brozović is in great form and having a player like Kondogbia that's superior defensively and in every aspect of the game (except grinta) to both Melo and Medel.

Unless we invest a lot of money and everything goes our way, we definitely have no chance at Scudetto with Mancini at the helm. Even as good as this season have gone so far, basically no injuries, most even matches going our way, Handanovic in god-like form, etc. I don't think we'll even reach CL spots.

Shut the fuck up. Why are you so cheery about? Mancini has been losing important games this season (fiora and napoli are our direct rivals), the wins against Milan and Roma were lucky, the only really good games were 1-1 against Juve and the second half against Napoli, which we lost.

I am very disappointed. I would even take a draw today...but to lose like this makes me wanna sell a few players before we start playing again...pronto.

I just logged in to say this is completely Mancio's loss. Melo shod not be blamed as everybody knows how he is. He had a horrible game from minute one and I just cant believe he was left threw the whole game especially as he was dancing on the verge of red card threw the whole second half.

Mancini fucked up completely and cost us big 3 points that we really needed before the break. I'm so fucking mad!
