Spalletti taking off Icardi for Santon and we immeadiatly concede 2 goals because of Santon's mistakes. That fucking hurt
That was one of the most deflating defeats in recent memory.
Against all odds and the obscene injustices (Pjanic -> Rafinha), we rallied and fought back against those fucking cunts inc. Orsato to turn the result on its head, despite playing 10 vs 12. Inevitably, Spalletti couldn't control his cowardice any longer and tried to defend the result by taking off our only forward. This move completely surrendered any ability to attack and thus invited juve to entrench themselves in our half with no fear of counter attacks whatsoever, and to attack with complete peace and impunity. Of all subs, it was Santon, who had been single-handedly responsible for SEVERAL losses previously, and unsurprisingly, we lost the game, and gifted juve the scudetto in our own home. Pain. That was the game that Spalletti died to me. A mistake so heinous, I never forgave him.
Losing this one would be equally deflating, albeit for different reasons. Even though I don't think we'll win the scudetto, nor do I even want to think about it, it's about fucking time for some resistance.
We're currently first and we deserve to be where we are. juve on the other hand, have been disgustingly fortunate. They should've drawn or even lost at Napoli before Koulibaly scored the most fucking retarded own goal despite being under zero pressure. One of the worst unforced errors I've seen since Kondogbia's own goal against Chelsea. juve should've lost at Fiorentina too who completely run them ragged, but were again fortunate to escape with a point. Against Brescia, they got numerous favorable decisions including no punishment for that fucking cunt Pjanic and Ramsey who both should've been booked. Typical of them, they've played like absolute trash and still earned tons of undeserved points.
In previous seasons, we've been shit, and juve have been like a well-oiled machine. This season however, it's the opposite. After all the promise and potential of 6 consecutive wins and that magnificent first half against Barca at Camp Nou, the team owes it to themselves to reward itself with a win. I don't even want to imagine losing this game. I do think we'll win. But juve aren't trash like Milan. It'll require an immense performance from all involved.
