Not buying that. Hideous. Haven't purchased an Inter shirt in years.... of course I have biased towards the 2007/2008 year.

Zig-Zhang stripes are clearly a statement of change/innovation, we will have to get used to them and I`m sure we will (at some point).. This image shows the intended "snake skin":

Ebvhxm7XgAArGXy.jpeg

Inter have unveiled their ‘postmodern’ home kit for the 2020-21 campaign, which sports a zigzag pattern.

A statement on Inter’s official website explains the shirt ‘captures the best of Milanese culture, values and style through a radical interpretation of the club’s traditional colours’.

“Inspired by the pioneering work of Milanese designers in the 1980s, Inter’s new home kit celebrates the city through a striking aesthetic which symbolises the shared identity of the club and the people it represents.”

Scott Munson, Vice-President of Nike Football Apparel, added: “We continue our pursuit of challenging the club’s traditional striped identity, this time drawing inspiration from one of Milan’s most important design movements.

The zig-zag graphic is a staple of post-modernist design and is also reminiscent of the slithering Biscione. The result is a radically unexpected home kit.”

Although the traditional black-and-blue stripes are incorporated, the biggest change sees the inclusion of zigzags for the first time on a Nerazzurri home jersey.

Radical indeed, however that away kit is indeed rubbish, while the 3rd looks like a bad replica.

I wanted to go on store.inter.it and buy the home shirt match vapor for this season because I don`t expect to be buying the 2020/21 one. Pleasant surprise was that 50% discount is being offered, however, L size is out of stock. Anyone got a trusted website where I can order them it at 50% discount? Not interested in the stadium version.

10x in advance

I give 6/10 for the home Jersey. It's not that bad, something diffrent. But i prefer normal strips of course. For a change it could be acceptable.

The away i give 5/10. I like the colours but the design is really ugly. Could be used in the kitchen for the table tbh.

For the third shirt: 7/10. I really waited a long time for this shirt of the Inter from 98. If it will be like in the rumours i give "only" 7 because i like the original more.

Don't have one.
Second one looks like something kid would draw in paint, and i m the one who likes more of a distinctive shirt than a generic beautiful one, but that one is just a no from me.Only hope is maybe it looks better on players.

Third one is great and its really similar to one we had in past, which i almost immediately associate with veron for some reason.

It's bad enough Nike don't pay us enough this is an insult to our tradition and history. I wonder if the designer is sound in the mind when he thought this is a good idea. It is now the time we tell Nike to fuck off and switch to Adidas. This is what Adidas can do with our shirts.

Out of the above, I personally prefer the 3rd version from design perspective.

Nike seem to be forcing these long-term deals for a reason. For example, Tottenham`s deal with the US sportswear giant runs until 2033 and is thought to be one of the longest deals with a football club in Nike’s history.
According to The Sun, the deal is worth £30million to the North London club per year.

As it stands, Manchester United hold the biggest kit supplier deal in the Premier League with their agreement with Adidas being worth around £75million per year. This means that Liverpool's deal will be the second-most lucrative deal in England with an estimated value of £70million from Nike - a significant increase on the current £45million-a-year deal with New Balance. However that agreement is being contested by current supplier New Balance, who are adamant that they have have triggered their right to match Nike's offer, meaning that their deal would be extended beyond it's expiry in May 2020. Liverpool, who are said to insist that this is not the case and as such New Balance have flied a dispute which will be heard in the High Court.

Manchester City currently hold the second-biggest kit deal which is worth £65million-a-year with Puma, London's top three clubs follow closely behind. Arsenal and Chelsea boast the biggest kit deals in London, with the clubs holding deals worth £60million-a-year with Nike and Adidas respectively.

There are other kit manufacturers out there like Under Armour / Macron / Umbro, someone from Inter just needs to calculate the margin the club makes over each item.

It kills me to think how great it would look with our normal stripes.

Hoping the away and third kits get official release pictures too as I’m excited about them.

I really dig the zig zag pattern on the home shirt, since it is something relatively fresh and it actually tries to shake up that boring design of regular stripes (on that note, I would also find it refreshing to see a unicolored home jersey for once). The away jersey, however, is an abomination... it is just insulting. The third one, as most of you already said, just looks cheap.

But let's be honest here, neither Adidas nor Macron are better options. Adidas' jerseys look cheap and their designs are in no way better than Nike's. And why the hell do Macron have to plaster their logo all over their shirts and their shorts?! One on the chest is enough, goddammit.

Adidas wont make shirts like that. Those are some renders made by a designer, who can easily make any brand look great on our kit. Adidas slap their 3 stripes everywhere they can so I'd rather avoid them. And they come out with some shit designs like the juve ones and much more. I'm happy with Nike as they made some awesome designs, but sometimes they fuck the kits up bad. They just need to pay us more sponsorship money.

The away kit is a disgrace as well with that horrible tablecloth that literally must have took the designers 3 year old child about 30 seconds to come up with that.

I just hope the third shirt turns out alright so we're not left with 3 shirts that make us a laughing stock (as if our performances on the pitch don't do that already).

Those kit renders without pirelli don't even look like inter kits. Going to be weird without them, shame because it looks great

I hate this trend of designers putting a pile of shit on a jersey and acting as if they were inspired by the club's history.

They dont make jerseys for die hard fans, they make them for short-term trend suckers, and fashion influencers.

The home jerseys aren’t as bad as I thought, it’s better than those old kaleidoscopic jerseys imo, but still just not good enough. The away jersey doesn’t exist and third kit is the only acceptable one.

Skriniar
Sale started today for card holders etc. I wanted to buy it but I can only buy the shirt and not the whole outfit?

Oh for the people wondering: Off course it will be a shirt with Skriniar his name.
