So the third kit is sold out for 2/3 weeks now, is it common they wait so long to restock it? I wanted to buy it before the CL started but i guess i should wait till the derby when i'm in Milano to buy it.

About the shirt for coming season, f*ck no. Why do all these marketing shitheads feel it's alright to rape the shirts of some of the biggest clubs in the world, and for what? Nothing is holy anymore in this age of modern football.

I saw it inter store online few days ago but I need size XL which wasn't available. Today the remaining sizes are sold out again. This is a really good news.

this is apparently our away jersey, after the home jersey with the diagonal stripes

This is going really at the wrong way and we should start to protest.. be it on twitter or something like that. They should know that this designs are not made for Inter, this is BULLSHIT what nike is making now.

Who at Inter is in charge of approving of these designs? Is there a way to find that person and to spam his social media or something, because this is just retarded. Worse and worse kit with every passing year.

I will be much happier if they stopped paying us 3 mln per year, rather than stopping doing ugly designs.

Thank you!

I will be in Milano in 2 weeks so I will check myself in the Interstore just to be sure.

Buying a Inter shirt with an ex player of Feyenoord on the back, I'm ashamed of myself.

Obviously depends on the design, but I don't mind the colour scheme at all.

I am furiously against the supposed diagonal stripes on the home jersey though. In recent years the rumoured kits and early leaked info has been very reliable usually. Time to get worried :awyeah:

Sometimes, I wonder if I am being fussy or whether I am too conservative when it comes to jersey designs. But I always return to the same point: Inters home jerseys have always been black and blue vertical stripes of even measure. For a good part of this decade, Nike have managed to fuck that up and do a pretty good job of it.

Every season, Nike have to find a new way to motivate fans to part with their money for a new jersey. It all comes down to money making and sales to the fans. Nike do not deliberately design shit jerseys. But today, jerseys only have a one year life cycle and Nike have the luxury of knowing that if a jersey is not well received, the fans will look to buy the following season. But the problem with that mentality is that we have become stuck in a cycle and it does not excuse the Sprite, barcode, partial snake skin and halva chocolate swirl jerseys that have been disappointing and in some cases embarrassing.

The last home jersey that I loved and purchased was in 2008. Despite winning the treble, I did not buy the 2010-2011 home jersey because I did not like the hallucination stripes. The last home jersey I purchased was the 2013-2014 due to our Captain's retirement. But even then, I thought the blue on that jersey was too dark. If I was on social media today and had the time, I would be bombing Nike with weekly comments about their jersey designs or doing likewise on Inter's official Twitter account.

I think it is sad that close to a decade has passed since I last purchased an Inter home jersey that I really loved. For me, that speaks volumes and I do not think it is simply down to me being fussy or conservative when it comes to jersey designs.

The sprite and the halva chocolate you mentioned have been one of the best sellers in the last decade. I never had to wait to purchase a jersey in the last decade until this halva chocolate design. Not sure if there are many like me, but I never buy a jersey because of the design. I buy them for collection.

I bought my 18th Inter jersey and it just arrived in the mail. Yes, you read that correct, my 18th.

I was highly disappointed when I opened the package, as I immediately noticed that the white Pirelli is semi transparent, resulting in being able to see the black and blue strips behind the Pirelli logo. After purchasing these jerseys over the last 20 years, this is the first time I've ever seen something like this.

For those that have purchased this year's jersey or seen them in stores, is this a known quality issue? Or was I just unlucky and got one from a bad batch?

I read reports a couple of months ago that we will have diagonal stripes for the first time in our history.

There's a reason why we have never had diagonal stripes before and that reason is that our stripes or vertical. However, Nike appear to have their hearts on "groundbreaking" designs that are history making. They should be told that they are very much making history with us in the wrong way. Not that they would care. The jersey will only have a years life before it is replaced by another hideous design.

In recent seasons the shirt rumours have proven to be very, very accurate. Which is worrying to say the least because that fucking diagonal jersey looks disgusting.

It goes without saying that our jersey is more important than whichever sponsor is on our shirt. That said, the reason the Pirelli logo looks so good on our shirt is not only from familiarity since 95. It's because the Pirelli logo is a nice and blocky font with lines drawn in vertical and horizontal lines, which works very naturally with our vertical stripes. Turn the stripes on their side diagonally and the Pirelli logo (which I gather is going to remain on our shirt for a few more seasons at least) will make the shirt look even worse than it does.

Barcelona once had their vertical stripes turned 270 degrees sideways so if that's another Nike-ism a few years down the road, well, I warned you.

And, of course, once again next year's sleeves won't be striped. Pretty amazing how the technology to do that existed in the early 20th Century but in 2019 getting your sleeves striped is just asking too much.
