Those stupid wankers made already three errors in the new jersey.

The date is wrong, Inter was founded 9th of March not 8th. Word "Nerazzuro" is totally wrong, it's lackin one "r" and it should be in plural ending with "i" not "o". So the correct form would be "NERAZZURRI" not "nerazzuro".

Only 2.

It says "100 anni nerazzurro" so singular ending is correct.

Nevertheless Nike said they'll of course change the jerseys for those who already bought it.

Now I saw somebody else pointed it out.

Haha. What a blunder.

Actually it should be in plural. "100 Anni nerazzurri" means "100 blackblue years". In italian if the substantive is in plural also the adjective has to be in plural. It differs a bit from english.

I speak Italian ;)

I thought the Nerazzurro is used as a substantive as well, not as an adjective in this case. If not then you're right.

It's not.

Gazzetta reported that they already sold a couple hundred of these, but they'll of course change them to the corrected ones for free.

I asked my parents who speak Italian and they said that it would be Nerazzurro not Nerazzurri. I didn't quite understand the part about adjectives and subject verb crap, but I am pretty sure they are right.

LoL, both are right...

When you say:

"100 years of black and blue", it's "100 anni nerrazurro"

but if you say:

"100 black and blue years", it's "100 anni nerrazurri"

;)

Yes, I thought it was exactly like that after digesting the arguments laid forth by both Jake & Zamat. Thusly, both forms are actually grammatically correct; it just depends on your own defined usage?

Oh and, I can't believe Nike pulled out a jersey with so big a blunder. Or 2, in this case. Can't trust those guys. :D

Ciao,
Tim

So Zamat I guess it's a draw. Though also Gazzetta agrees with me... ;)

The good thing is that it was caught with a few hundred only sold

Then the whole thing could have been a debacle on Nike's end

Ok kids,

this white jersey with red cross will be our away jersey. The shirt is a copy of the shirt we used as our jersey when we were Ambrosiana. Hence I like this for our centenary shirt.

THere's only one thing, there is a typo in one detail, where it says "100 anni nerazzuro" it should be "nerazzurro".
Funny thing is, Jake noticed the mistake way before the shirt is released while Nike didn't. :D

Jake is right, 100 anni nerazzurro doesn't make any sense, it should be nerazzurri, or 100 anni in nerazzurro.
