we wore this shirt previously, it was in inter museum, so basically it's just a copy of a historic shirt... and it looks damn sweet too :D

its about religion. you cant deny it. its not the cross of milan. its the Cross of St. George, a roman catholic saint. you cannot ignore that. there is a decent bit of religion in the symbol.

No wonder this world is phucked. Football teams can't even celebrate their own heritage without people screaming foul over some religious shit.

I'm the biggest atheist you can find, but not even I'm bothered by a freaking cross on our jerseys, since it freaking represents the home-city of the team.

Just like many other people said, I agree with that point. Its about the city not the religion of the city. And um... I think that I have the title of "the biggest Atheist you can find." :D

From the preview the players did last Sunday, it was in blue. Thank God.

I don't like the blue names. It doesnt match anything else on the shirt.

If this were a "religous" symbol why should a Muslim be offended by a Catholic symbol?

If it was a nazi symbol and you were a Jew yes you have a point but I think this doesn't make any sense.

If they put the names in red it would really look crap. Seriously. Close your eyes and imagine.:D

I have to say that I am very offended by the shirt.

Why is the blue so dark? During games and with sweat etc. the blue would merge with the black and the whole thing would just look like a black shirt, which would suck. I hope they work on the colours' combinations.

Also, no collar again!

I am assuming the photshoped one is close to the real one.

i never said i had a problem with it or thought others would have a problem.
i like the shirt, thinks its quite class.
all im saying is that the shirt is a christian symbol and to ignore that is impossible. however, inter does play in milan, and you cant deny that, like pretty much all cities in italy, much of its history centers around the catholic church. so its a part of inters history. you cant just let that pass by.

You're reading far too much into the design, bro.

If Inter wanted to depict the cross as a Christian symbol, as opposed to a city one, then, they must have thought of the potential boycott, or at the least, displeasure, from fans such as yourself. Surely the designers of the jersey couldn't be that obtuse, could they?

Ciao,
Tim

I wonder if Muslims on other forums are complaining that other teams have a cross on their uniform?

Let's see. We have Barcelona, which has a red cross on their logo. Milan has a red cross on their logo. Parma has a black cross on their logo. Madrid has a yellow cross on their logo.

What about Manchester United and Milan? They both represent the devil. Those two teams must be hated by all, Christians, Jews, and Muslims.
