i dont get how dropping our most influential players will help our team.

Kondogbia, Miranda, Murillo, Santon, (cant believe im saying this) Melo, (cant believe vol.2 ) Guarin, Jojo and Icardi should never be dropped

Couldn't agree more. Especially in the attack. We need consistency. JoJo - Icardi - Perisic needs more fussion, and Adem needs to be the sub-in.

- - - Updated - - -

Also to add to my first post on forum. Longer one:

I really REALLY hope Mancini will play 4-3-3 and not 4-3-1-2 because we all saw what Perisic is able to do on the wing and how fast he is. He suffers in the middle, and JoJo suffers as a central forward. They both need to be outside. Plus he has a great cross, Mauro needs more balls on him inside. I would start JoJo because of team chemistry. I agree with you on Palacio. Offensively he can't help upfront (unless you are leading and aiming for troll win). Adem needs playing time.

Also, I think Melo is a minus 1 player on the field when playing weaker teams (like Verona), where we will be attacking 80% of the time and they will be running on counters. Melo is slow so I think tomorrow he wont be of much help. I would love to see 4-2-3-1 with Adem JoJo and Ivan in the midd with Icardi upfront, but that formation would take months to build defensive mentality from our midds (considering what coward I think Mancini is - that will never happen)

Im from Bosnia guys so I know in depth our Balcan players and I must say that Brozovic was never a talent, nobody can understand here how Dinamo sold him to Inter.

Murillo is injured and prolly wont be called. Miranda is doubtful too. Icardi, Guarin and Melo will probably play. The rest, dunno.

Is there a timetable on his recovery?

1 goal conceded in 4 games, then both starting CBs out :palm:

If we want to do well in Serie A, defence is #1 thing. Attacking is very important (no shit), but defence is always most important for long term results if you look at standings.

Most of their best players too. Hallfredsson, Toni, Romulo, Jankovic, and Marquez are basically the core of their side.

We should win this game easily

It's nothing serious I think. Might be back vs Fiorentina. If not, the next match after Fiorentina.

Our defense has kept changing in these 4 matches. We've had the following partnerships: Murillo-Miranda, Murillo-Medel, Medel-Ranocchia, Murillo-Ranocchia-Medel. I'm not that worried about defense.

I think mancini is planning to inject lialic in the nerazzuri fans heart same way it happened with Jovetic it will give huge mental boost to help him achieve what he can do

Even if we are crippled in the centre-back department, they seem to be crippled in the everything department.

Poor Ranocchia, one might be forced to say. For all the errors he has made, does he really deserve to be the last choice CB? So far down the pecking order we'd shunt someone who's primarily a DM for our club to CB? Heck, Mancini would probably play Razvan Popa in the XI before daring to start Rano.

I think this approach is going to be curtains for him. He seems to need confidence to play at his best, and being left to rot on the bench when he was once in the national team is just going to squeeze the life out of him. He'll likely just play even worse going forward than in the past with this state of affairs.

I'm worried not for mistakes past, but mentality present. If he does start, I hope there's no inner doubt breeding in his mind, else one of his trademark slip-ups may well be on the cards.

How many times did you say this last year? I must have read this exact same post at least 10 times and yet just about every time we managed to drop points.

There are no easy games. Ever. Point blank. Period.

Hope we will finally see some attacking game plan, off the ball movements and etc.Good result without real game plan ((Like in first four games. To be honest goals have fallen after the stupid reaction by the opponents (Gobbi from Chievo,Carpi defender) or by an individual flashes and not as a result of some game plan.Like almost every offensive action on matches, also)) is ok for a while but for a longer period this is not sustainable.

And hope we can get another three points today on the way to a little more difficult schedule.

Pazzini's gonna have a point to prove hope he plays like he did in the derbies. But tbh are fans really loved him so they don't give him too much shit to fire him up.

I agree, specially on this instance. Maybe if we were playing Europe, then we could rotate a bit. But I don't think rotation is needed now. Games like this one against Verona are the most important ones for us this season, we MUST get those 3 points. CL spots are decided by how many points you get against the bottom 10 teams. We must put our best XI on the pitch. We can worry about Fiorentina after this game is over.

We struggled against Carpi and Chievo, there is no reason to assume this game will be easy.
