Looked easy, but was harder than we thought. Top of the table, best attack, best defense. Best GD , best striker and coach.

I want Allegri`s head on a fucking spike next.

These tickets were all worth it. It only cost 50€ to see a half line goal of the season for 2 people .

21 shots, 6 on target, 47% possession, 85% pass accuracy (could have fooled me), 9 corners and another clean sheet. Decent win, to a surprisingly good side who just came up. Enjoy the break.

He was never that good. Don't know why people were jizzing over him and why we sold Brozovic cheap to buy him for that amount.
then you should watch more italy games and what he made 2 seasons at sassuolo.. comparing frattesi with vecino is criminal.

I did enough.

And I didn't compare him to Vecino. I just don't consider him 35m good and never got the excitement some had for switching Brozovic for him.

Yeah i know, i mean the guy you responded that said he is like vecino.

I honestly don't see a problem. I believe once Frattesi will adapt he will be good, hes still young. Brozo on the other side was starting to make some mistakes here and there. Im not saying he was bad but i also don't miss him, specialy because Cahla is amazing. But as already said, let's have some patience with Frattesi before saying that he's not worth the money.

From the replay it doesn't even seem that he was looking for the goal. Crazy goal, but to me it rather looks like a misplaced long pass.

I'll watch it again from different angles to make a conclusion

That was obviously a deliberate shot. There was nobody to pass to except if our players can teleport and levitate

Lautaro's worst game for a good long while, but that's alright.

Gonna throw this out there and I hope I'm wrong, but Frattesi is giving me Vecino vibes. He needs a LOT of work.
Dont think I can agree on that, Frattesi dribbles better, defends harder, tracks back quicker.

Could be a misplaced long ball or whatever. Open this video and put playback speed on 0.25, then watch it carefully from 0:57 min. As soon as the goal is replayed, in that millisecond, Dimarco was looking on his right for his teammmates and then instantly delivers the ball without even watching the goal. Honestly, I wish I was wrong, but it doesn't seem intentional to me.

I don't know what you're seeing there, but that was a shot at goal, not a misplaced cross. It was clearly intentional even if Dimarco himself may call it lucky or whatever.

Being lucky and having that particular intention is two different things. I had to watch that video a bunch of times to make a conclusion for myself. The goal is amazing and credit should be given but it's not that we haven't seen amazing goals being scored despite players' intentions were else.

Here's an example:

If you've watched that video I posted above, you could see that Dimarco made a quick scan on his right before he delivered the ball. His shot took a crazy trajectory but nothing can convince me that he meant to score from there. In fact there's a bunch of times he's tried these kind of long balls to the other side. He succeeded in many times but also gave the ball away in quite a few occasions as well.

Just watch for his head movement before he shoots. It tells everything about it.

But we aren't swapping Brozo with Frattesi. It's Asllani and Hakan that occupy Brozo's spot.

The problem is that Frattesi has not yet fully grasped what Inzaghi wants. Mkhitaryan and Barella are better at positioning and letting the ball flow around the pitch. Frattesi should position himself so that he has more options to pass the ball, also he should pass it quicker. A lot of times he is too close to the RWB and then the angles for a pass forward aren't there.

He is great at bombing forward, especially without the ball, but until he doesn't understand how to the Inzaghi's slow build up play with the right positioning, he won't do that great when there isn't a lot of space and we are trying to counterattack.

Fun game to attend live. That Dimarco goal is insanity in it's purest form. The Thuram penalty was hard to see from where I was sitting, but he continues to break down defenses and cause mistakes.
