This was top notch tactical choice today to let Fiorentina come deep into our half and then hit deep.

Almost like the game against Barcelona, altho a lesser Inter and much lesser Barcelona in Fiorentina. Most of our chances reminded me of the second goal against Barca.

One on one defending was top notch today as well as doubling up on players. And we didn't do it by parking the bus, indeed, we dropped quite deep, but we left 3 players upfront so that when we win the duels, we can break quickly. And Juan, Rano, Cambiasso etc were bossing it in winning the ball one on one and then Cou, Cassano made a really good job in moving the ball to dangerous areas.

The scoreline should be much much better.

Sucks I couldn't see this game due to work, but good to know (from reading posts) that tactically we looked better.

May be it's not the best game of this season so far, but I'm happy with overall team balance: no gaps between defense and midfield, some pretty good combinations attacking and we didn't look completely toothless, not to many long balls to nowhere as before.

Positive:
- It seems like benching Guarin and Pereira we have way better percentage of passing and better possession in midfield. Not too many lost balls, almost every possession finished advancing to the enemy's box.
- Looking the game vs Torino I was wondering if this is the only one time for Rano-Juan playing so well, now I'm sure it's not. Except of the moment with lost player scoring defense looked pretty solid. It seems like Strama somehow managed our DF timing and positioning, Juan is so good playing both-center and left side, this guy is grown up Serie-A defender.
- Gargano is the beast. If he continue like this, he can replace Camb easily next season.
- Cassano was superb with his passes

Negative:
- Strama was afraid to draw and told the guys to roll back when Fio had player sent off
- Ricky and Cou performances are quite unstable-sometimes they can create something incredible, sometimes lose the ball in very simple sutuation
- Naga even though he performed fine tonight, haven't been returning back to defense as much as JZ. And his actions are too predictable, in the end of the game he didn't make any good sprints and crosses, because opponents knew what he's gonna do.

I liked our game today, Fiorentine maybe controlled the ball but they almost didn't risked us, while in our side only Milito could score 3 goals not including the PK.
Cassano is a beast, his ball control is in the highest levels of football and always when i'm thinking that we got him with 7.5M for Pazzini i'm laughing.
Gargano, Juan and Cou were also good. i really liked Gargano fighting game today, really impressed me today. And of course - Rano and Handa. I'm in love with then.

Next week - Merda "Away". I no that in the Derby everything can happen, but we are just better. much better. Forza Inter.

Not the best game? which game did Inter play better than Fiorentina?

Strama was not afraid to attack Fio when they had 1 player down but by doing that it means we're opening our defence and invites them to attack while we had the game pretty much done by 60th minute or so. It was pretty obvious Fiorentina couldn't do anything anymore to break us after about 60th min.
