Wait, he's never heard of co-ownership? :| And he's accusing Benny of being not having "decent football knowledge" because of this? :| I'd like to buy you a mirror, tell me the shipping address please. :)

Co-ownership only exists in Italy, which would make his assumption that a co-ownership of a player with an Italian and a Turkish club (where co-ownershipping doesn't exist) rather stupid.

Thanks for the info Bosanac;) ..
To answer your question quickly and directly..

I remember him as a 17 year old kid and sadly when he moved from Italy to Turkey i hardly heard anything of him.when hefirst came to Jube i thought he was under 50-50 agreement with his old club. and when he moved from Jube i thought Jube didnt sell their 50% outright.
Also as you can see neither Fener not the Turkish league are followed around these forums mainy beacuse there is so many better leagues and clubs in Europe and the quality of the Turkish clubs like my favourite Gencerbigli can be compared to Serie B.

Fener might be a force in Turkey mainly because of the vocal and partisan following you have but outside it besides the last several years your team and its Euro history are laughable and suspect.Intimidation is a factor and if you guys didnt have those great fans your club would be nothing special as your football isnt exactly top notch.besides the forigneres who dictate the tempo in major Turkish clubs as most of the great Turk players are abroad playing in those teams that we are watching instead of the Fener's,the Galas,Besiktases or what have you..

Following the changes in Europe in the last 20 years its no wonder Turkish club football is in expansion but not enough to intimidate Inter @ home .

Furthermore if you read back in the first game thread me as a poster has never slagged of your club..if anything i said Inter would struggle in Turkey and a draw would be more than good.

Lets see what you guys have when you play in Italy and how many of these fans will come to support you.

Knowing the Italian fans stereotype Turkish football and degrade it im guessing there will be 30 thousand at the Meazza..i believe enough to intimidate your average team.

Good luck and hang around the forum:)

I explained why I found your assumption ridicilous and assumed that you don't have a good football knowledge on the top part of my post.

--

I know that Fenerbahce can't be compared to Inter talent-wise, or budget-wise. In any way except with the team chemistry and spirit, which I believe gives us a huge advantage over our opponents. It's magical in a way, because a good team chemistry and spirit combined can overcome any big money making, full of super-stars, success-hogging team. It can turn a potentially 'crappy' labeled team to be unbeatable.

It is a department, as we saw in Turkey, that Inter is lacking. Unfortunately, it's something that money can't buy. ;)

We'll see how the game goes, hopefully.. it might turn a few stereotype Italian fans to stop for a second and think outside of the box. It would benefit us all, maybe we could turn Champions League to be fun again.

Do you really find it fun to see a big team win it every year? It's getting too repetetive..

Let the underdog spirit live on.. :)

I dont know about under dog spirit..i mean Turkey has a pretty good relationship with Uefa hence the spots Turkish cubs get in the CL.

The real under dogs are the Eastern Euro clubs from around your way who deserve more thab the Turks are getting...but any way...

I remember when Turkilmaz was a folk hero in Turkey in the late 80's and thought of locally as world class...how time have changed for Turkish football:)

Yeah, well.. Turkey is getting very Europenized. I don't know if I stated this before, but I'm not a Turk myself. I'm Bosnian, much like Ibrahimovic. Anyway, that's not the point.. continuing my point.. and not just with football, but with the way their government works and everything. If you follow politics, you will probably know that they're trying damn hard to get into the European Union. Who knows, maybe in a decade or two.. Turkish Super League will be a bit more respected, it is what the clubs there are working towards.

The spots Turkish clubs get in CL does not have anything to do with their supposed good relationship with UEFA because I think otherwise. How many spots in CL you get is decided by how many points you have earned in UEFA competitions. I actually think that UEFA refs always try to screw Turkish clubs out of the competition with unnecessary red cards and wrong calls. Just in Moscow, about a month ago, when Fenerbahce played CSKA there.. Fenerbahce had a red card shown to them in a position where most refs only give fauls and barely a yellow sometimes.

And because of that very hard work on the political front they have been rewarded on the sporting sense with the extra places in the Euro comps.

Anyway id rather see Sarajevo,Zeljeznichar,Zrinski instead of the minor place getter in the Turk championship in the CL.Think what that would do for your youth, economy, lifestyle and particualary sporting Pride.

particulary since your best talents are heading that way or have been for a while now...

I'm not really worried about Bosnian football at the moment, we're a real football country. As you know, with the fall of Yugoslavia, Bosnia suffered the most. A lot of damage is done to Bosnia, but we're rebuilding ourselves. I'm sure in a decade (maybe a bit longer), our football will get back on its feet and teams like Sarajevo and Zeljeznicar will get up to the speed. We always were,a nd will produce great talents. No war can take that away from us ;)

Also, how many Italians do you guys actually have on your squad? Just curious, since you made it clear that Fenerbahce is being run by the foreigners.. ;)

Than two of our Brazilian players are Turks, what with them having the Turkish passport and all. Still, I don't see them as Turks just as I don't see Ibra as a Swedish, or those 12 players you mentioned like Italians. In my humble opinion, you're not what it says on your 'papers'.. but rather are the blood that runs through you. :)

And why wouldnt you see Ibra as a Swedish? He's born in Sweden, raised in Sweden, speaks spotless Swedish, plays for the Swedish nationalside and most of all he calls Sweden "home".

Thats like saying Brad Pitt isnt american cause some grandparents of his were born in Ireland or whereever?

He was raised by Bosnians, his parents are Bosnian. Grew up like a Bosnian, tried out for the Bosnian NT before trying out for the Swedish NT. Our stupid federation thought he had no talent. We pushed him to call his home 'Sweden'. It doesn't change the fact that he's Bosnian though, regardless of what he feels. He's the product of Bosnia, not Sweden. See, the fact that he calls his home 'Sweden' is in a way caused by Bosnia which further proves that he's a product of Bosnia if you for a second forget that he's the product of a Bosnian man and a woman.

This is a speculation, and can be looked at any way. It all depends on an individuals opinion. No need to further discuss it. Make up your mind. This is my opinion, and I won't force it on you.

PS: Do you like Brad Pitt or somethin? :)

Product of Bosnia? How is a product of Bosnia if he never lived or played football there? He learned to play football in Sweden, he went to school in Sweden, he was born in Sweden. To me that makes him a "product" of Sweden. If he was born in Bosnia he'd never be the football player he is today, he'd probably not even be a football player. He doesnt owe anything to Bosnia, thanks to Sweden he could live a normal life and become the man he is today.

His mom is Croatian.. So your speculations fails directly. I dont mind you speculating.. but DO try to get your facts right before you speculate..

He never actually played for Bosnia.. Hes been playing in the Swedish Youth teams. His uncle talked about him maybe trying out for the bosnian team when Zlatan was visiting relatives in Bosnia, since he didnt receive a callup for the Swedish "A" team until 2001.

"Product of Bosnia" How do you become a product of a country that you only visit very sporadically? If he is born and raised in Sweden going to Swedish schools playing footie in Swedish youthteams, being a part of the Swedish society then by all accounts he is a product of Sweden.. Like it or not..

It really cant be looked at in any other way..

If you say hes Bosnian your wrong. He is Swedish with Croatian/Bosnian origins...

I'm sure Mancio will play his strongest side; we wanna top the group dont we? that means we will probably get an easier side in the next round. And we need to send out a message to the rest of Europe, at the moment Man Utd, Arsenal and Barca are most feared teams, we should b up there!!

Says so? (Except you). I think the Arsenal players will run out of batteries soon, Man Utd has a small group of players (Rooney is already out for a month so it will get harder any day until his return) and Barca plays good only on their home ground.

Manu have a small group of players?

Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo, Nani, Giggs, Anderson.....They do have a lot of players and mostly players who are playing very well at the moment

Let's get back on topic shall we? this thread had taken a major U turn.

Anyway I am really pumped for this game 2 teams in great form battling it out for top spot in the group doesn't get much better than that. I love watching us in the CL even if the results haven't always been to my liking...

heres a question to anyone who has espn. Do they ever show inter. It's redicioulous, they show the stupidest games involving low level teams against the highest ranked teams like arsenal, barca, Milan ahhahaha. But yet games with such importance in the table, and also great form, they will hesitate to show the game, which i find horrible in their televising methods. I think they hate inter, because last year they showed barca vs. the worst team in their table?, but not the inter vs. Bayern game. Pittiful!

FOrza inter, still a long time til' the game. I can not wait. Hoping to see suazo play some minutes, hopefully dragging his form and determination into the game, add that with his skill not yet shown, i hope he gets a good chunk of time. Also would like to see crespo ibra, or ibra suazo start.
Their team can be dangerous, and this should be a great show.
With matrix, maicon, and stankovic back, we should be able to play our game to them and show them who the italian champions are.
