I really hope many of you are watching this game, so you can witness for yourself that the reason for why Mariano hasn't played more or less at all, is not related to him being a bad player. He's even playing out of position and rules.

Well, I honestly believe Mariano is better what we've seen yet (I'm not watchinhg this match), but hey, this is Coppa Italia, which even minor teams won't take seriously. But of course it is impossible for Mariano to show his worth when he's given a chance just in these matches.

I have to say I was pretty impressed with Bonucci's display tonight. He was calm and confident in his play and one couldn’t really ask for more from this young lad. Also Dacourt yet again showed why he is the king of giving silly free kicks away. Overall it was yet another good performance. Now Samp awaits in the semis.

I thought the same thing. Nice movement all over the pitch. Feels like his so-often-warmed bench spot is somehow undeserved.

Anyway, nice match, though boring. Great goal by Grossogol. Out of nothing. Nice to see youngsters play as well. I think Bonucci did very well. Quite a few good challenges and if memory serves me well, no one even got past him today. Didn't see enough to give an opinion on Biabany and Ribas.

Even if it was a booring match it was still a good one!! JUts to get some players back in to form and also to see some of our youth players.

Special mentions:
Gonzalez: in my eyes he was MOM he was involved in every attacking move and gave the assist fore the first goal.
Grosso: HE seems to be BAck in top condition i know it s only empoli, but he had a lot of nice runs and caused a lot of probs fore the defenc and of course there was this beautiful goal.
Cuchu: he was like the ruler of ure mid played a nice match
Bonucci: Man this lad impressed me he was very solid in defending and had some nice runns don the flank.

The othe two lads just did not have enough time but they made some nice moves and both had a scoring chance

I think we witnessed a new star was born!Without doubt I mean Bonucci.
Nice tackle!Nice dribble!Nice move and Nice pass.Everything a full back should be!And If I didn't remember wrong Bonucci also can play as central defender.at the moment at least Maicon has a high class substitute and we have every reason to expect more!

MOTM is definetly Grosso and Mariano. Grosso not only displayed his usual good attacking movements but he also dispossed Empoli of the ball and caused a change of possession several times and Gonzalez, well he was just dangerous throughout the entire game.

Bonucci impressed me out of all the youth players he looks like a solid RB that is very comfortable with the ball.

Fackin sick ass goal from Grosso.
