Feel bad for Correa consistently busting his leg.

Feel bad for us buying Correa to consistently bust his leg.

Tough and ugly match.
I feel so bad about Correa, get well soon son.
Gags and Vecino are atrocious.
Alexis MoTM (goal + assist).
Rano screamer.
Sensi scoring the winning goal.
Onto the quarterfinals!

25 shots, 11 on target, 58% possession, 86 % pass accuracy. Frog almost the donkey, and a hero. Sensi debate incoming after scoring the winner, rested the regulars, that didn't age well. So onward, for a gritty performace.

This just shows big gap of between starting and benched midfielders line up, we couldn’t go to the end of season with only Vecino, Gag and Vidal

This match was a lesson both for Inzaghi and the players. He shouldn't have done so many changes in the starting lineup but we had the game more or less where we wanted at the end of first half. The biggest problem in second half was the mentality. We treated the second half as if the game was already over. This was unacceptable.
Down to who was on the pitch there. Ranocchia, D'Ambrosio, Vecino, Gagliardini, even Lautaro, far too many remnants of the De Boer/Pioli/Spalletti era. Mentality in the absolute gutter.

Pleased & relieved with the result, as losing that would've been embarrassing. Lots there for Inzaghi to learn from, let's hope he does.

Credit to Empoli for making it a good cup tie.

We drew against Atalanta B last week. It would be fun to see Atalanta B against Inter B aka team that started tonight :D

Yeah we were like inviting them to come and score. Once they did, we couldn't stop being shit and they scored again. :D

Inter's Suits were in attendance today and Inzaghi used the subs as starters for today's match they saw the result first hand...it should be readily apparent that more investment is needed ASAP.

We've got the swagger of champions, we fucked things up badly last night and still managed to get through, real important lesson before Venezia.
