That's a bit freaky..we really need midfielders...i'd like it if we played 4-3-3 but there's just no creativity in the midfield to help if we play like that and it'll have to be zlatan doing everything and if he doesn't perform it'll be a risk...i hope mancini can manage something outta the midfield department he has

I think you clearly misunderstood me i was talking if we play 4-3-3 in which i expected our midfield would probably end up being
Cambiasso Dacourt Zanetti
with zlatan in front of them than we won't have any creativity in our team...i doubt we'd play with cambiasso solari and jimenez if we play with 4-3-3....I have nothing against solari was a huge fan of his since his days in Madrid and i think with a bit of confidence he can really spark the game...Jimenez though i don't see much of when he plays, in other words he hasn't impressed me since we bought him (maybe because he hasn't played much..)....
one other thing NIKESOCCER compare our midfield right now (the one that's going to play tomorrow) and the midfield department of the top teams in the CL i think we're inferior to them in talent and skills...

I would really love to see Mancini go with 4-3-1-2 tommorow, would be a big solution to our midfield porblems, but I just dont see Mancini doing it.

If we go with 4-3-1-2, and our midfield gets dominated, all of the blame is gonna come on Mancini. But I still hope he goes with it, the Russians are not a particularly strong team in midfield.

Even with all the inured players, I still expect us to win this one 2-0 or 3-0. CSKA moscow are a pretty poor team away form Russia.

How about sticking Maxwell in a 3 man midfield? we need some creativity and spark with Figo and Stan out, and he can focus on what he does best: attacking and we have the insurance of having a better defender at LB in Chivu.

Jimenez is just came from an injury, I do not think he will play, the absence in midfield will kill us in this game we do not have players in the bench if something goes wrong in the first half.

I hope Solari shows his worth in this match this ill be his chance for him to shine, he could do wonders and lets hope today is his in form day.

It doesn't look that much, when you count maxwell and capitano as midfielders, it looks better and chivu and maicon on the backs. But I don't think Mancini will let Maxwell play on the midfield, but i'd like to see..
