Anyone notice Lautaro achieved a perfect hattrick today?

First with the right foot, then the left, and capped it off with a header!

Conte said 'Arturo, gioca e non rompere il cazzo!' twice, which loosely translates to 'shut the fuck up, don't moan and play football'.

Seems fairly apt, especially followed by hauling him off.

Thats spot on. Conte got a lot right today. The tactics, the changes, etc. The team's response to the first goal, and then in the 2nd half was good to see. All in all, a good day.

The only disappointments for me were Vidal and Young.

Outcome: Inter Milan (2.63 xG) 6-2 (2.17 xG) Crotone;

Expected outcome: Inter Milan 2-2 Crotone OR Inter Milan 3-2 Crotone;

Penalty tax is heavy at 0.76 xG. Without Vidal's mistake, we would see an xG of 1.41 for Crotone, leaving us over a full xG in the lead. It's crazy to see that, in a game where we convincingly won by 6-2 due to 4-0 in the second half, our expectancy was to draw or barely win.

A win is a win. Getting those valuable 3 points is the only thing that matters, regardless of the opponents. Crotone, Juventus, Spezia, Napoli. I don't fucking care. It is winning against these 'meaningless Serie B teams' as some people here say that will help a big deal in winning the league at the end of the day. We had been choking hard against these meaningless Serie B teams for almost a fucking decade and finally now we seem to have gotten our shit together when facing these teams.

A lot of areas to improve on of course. But I am happy with the win today and I'm just gonna celebrate.

Good game from us and good reactions from team after those goals and good subs from Conte today!

Lautaro, Lukaku and Sensi was fire today and I hope Lautaro will keep scoring even though Brehme dont count Crotone as Serie A team but Serie B team... Lukaku goal was also important and sealed the game to us and snapped Crotone hopes to equalise!

Inter have won 8 Serie A games in a row for the first time since December 2008.

Yesterday we played a great match! In the first half the only problem was Vidal who has played a very shitty 45 minutes! Fortunately Conte's substituted him after just one half of the match...

In any case, from the beginning i was sure that we'll won the match easily, in fact we scored 6 goals against that shitty club :D

Lukaku and Lautaro has been wonderful yesterday!

Hope Capello tells this idiot that he needs to rotate against weak teams and not playing Lukaku and Barella every fkn game.

Honestly, the two goals conceded really soured a good victory.

This team needs Sensi in shape, Vidal doesn't seem to cut it anymore.

Really happy with the Lula performance.

I'm really worried about the next game since after a big win we usually don't do well the next game.

I feel super weird. Every neutral fans can look at the statistics, imagine Inter as a machine gun of Serie A with 40 goals after 15 matches, 6 more than the 2nd best attack (Milan, 34 goals, 1000000 of which were pens), and 7 more than Atalanta, whom scored ~100 goals last season.

But we experienced that Inter could play extra 180 minutes and cannot score a single goal against mighty Shaktar to save our lives. Coz coz Conte tactics are clueless long balls to Lukaku or even Sanchez and that's it :yao2:

To be fair, we created myriads of chances against shakhtar but luck was not on our side. That Sanchez header blocked by Lukaku was the epitome of bad luck

The results of the Player Ratings are in! Check them in the thread or the quote below:

Fun consistency facts before starting up the thread:

  • Vidal is now the joint most inconsistent player of our team, sitting at the same high (low) as his brother Gagliarmessi5.
  • Despite the system in place that accounts for the negative effect great performances have on (in)consistency, Lautaro was still affected. He went from 0,92 to 0,94 (which means more inconsistent). This is completely 'normal' as his (SPOILER) average from this game is so much higher than the difference between his total season average and 6,00 (seeing as the total player average is < 6,00 at 5,87). Due to his subpar performances for the biggest part of this season, the performance of today is currently marked as an inconsistent performance. However, if he increases his average over time, that negative effect will fade away into a positive.

With this out of the way we also have three new records!

  • Lautaro sets the bar for the new highest game average of this season at 8,54;
  • Conte sets his best game at a score of 7,15;
  • We played our best second half at a score of 7,86.

Football is a game made out of many little moments sadly. We hit the bar three times in those two games. One goal out of those three bars would have stretched Shakthar and we would have murdered them. Same with the Real games where one moment (Vidal red card, Martinez post shot) and the Gladbach home game (Vidal penalty) could have changed the whole run of the game.
Which is the reason why I am not overly critical of Conte for not reaching the knockouts in the Champions League, as many of those little moments simply went against us.
Take as an example the season 2009-2010 where we scored a totally awkward goal to turn the tide against Dynamo Kiew, Balotelli scores a freekick out of 35 meters against Rubin Kazan, Cambiasso hits the ball perfectly against Chelsea etc.. Sometimes it is what it is.

Fans. Duh!
I think that it is justified so many goals because it is very tight and that the goal difference will decide who will win Scudetto and I dont think that Juventus is out.
