Congratulations everybody, & a HUGE congratulations to all who believed in Vieri. Sure was a crazy year for Bobo last season a hat trick (That goal should have counted...right?) and an assist! :thumbsup: We made it to the final (I just hope it’s a happy ending) Speaking of which, we really need to do something about our defending during set pieces. NO! I don’t think the answer has to do with acquiring new defender (No single player can stop a whole team) but the amount of goals we concede during free-kicks is simply awful/outrageous (Two shots in target and one went in, so annoying :wallbang: ) I wish can celebrate this moment better, but Inter can’t move on if we don’t fix this issue, unless we solve this problem we aren’t going to rule Europe…Not yet anyway, and I repeat, getting new defenders is not the answer.
Look at poor Chivu/Mexes/Bonera/Ferrari each are respectively talented but are unable to change their sides fortune, football has always been a TEAM game, I’ll admit getting our hands on a talented defender would be a nice luxury, but they aren’t going to single-handedly guarantees us a successful season, we need luck, talent and good management! Besides, when I play football and my team concede a goal I don’t go around asking for new teammates/defenders/Goalkeeper...That's just childish?

good match .. the second half started with the same passing play as the first half .. we basically were doing good.
However, the turning point came when Veron got injured and was replaced .. after that we just never managed to pass the ball around and keep posession. The second half showed how much Veron effects our game ... with him we get more possession, without we play more counter attack and quick football.

Yep, that's the one. I remember the Olimpico giving applause of encouragement as he was stretched off and Lippi having buried his head in his hands. Later they asked him why he did that and he looked at the journalist stupified and replied:"Why do you think?"
