Nah it’s ok, fuck records, we don’t need unnecessary pressure.

We’re good to hit our peak of season at right moments, for good long months, most of teams in league don’t even having it LOL.

It’s also consequence of gap between starters and backups, aging in some positions in line up.

Those of us who wanted a historic points tally and taking a record from gobbi. We are disappointed in the complete lack of effort to achieve this after going out of the cl.
I doubt the players even know about that point tally or if they do, they don't care. Winning the league matters. It's going to be a historic season in any case, not for setting records but just how dominant we were so such a long stretch.

Not setting new records doesn't mean ALL of our players played sub5/10. That is ridiculous. Sometimes you give somebody high marks when they score an important goal even if that player was mostly anonymous throughtout the whole game, but now it's 2-2 and our players are rated worse than against Sassuolo?

Who cares about fucking records, but regardless we should perform much better and be able to beat Cagliari at home. Playing too safe, playing Darmian instead giving chance to Buchanan on rwb, his natural position, yet bringin him to play on lwb, overall trying to win 1:0, and our starters look in terrible shape right now.. I dont like the way Limone is handling last couple of games.

Don't have one.
Drop in form is obvious. Can't tell why though  We only have one game per week.
The reason may be the usual, overplayed players and certain faults with the system we are playing, basically what we witnessed in previous seasons, only this time it came later in the season, it didn't cost us that much, and it has to be said we also had a lot of things going our way compared to the past years.

But the problem is there is no way to distinguish between those things and the fact the league title was decided for well over a month now. Combine that with a painful cl exit, and you can understand how some players aren't motivated as much anymore. So it may be just simple motivation, or it may be the thing I mention in the first paragraph, we'll never know.

I think that main reason why we do not play well last few games, is motivation, and that is normal. Players are dissapointed after Atletico. Maybe, now is time that our bench players play more and be prepared for next season. They will have motivation. We will win scudetto, no question about that, but we must start now to prepare for next year.

Just to add, there seems to be a very clear divide between the “social media” Inter fan and the “real life, match going” Inter fan.

Most people who I speak to who live in Italy and are able to go semi-frequently to the stadium are and have been in a constant state of euphoria pretty much since we went 7 points clear. The draws against Napoli and yesterday are received with a few shrugs and then the party starts again. It’s just us miserable fucks on the internet that are this upset about it

Heading down to Milan for the Lazio game to live in that atmosphere for a bit, even if I don’t find a ticket

For me it's about Inter securing that 2nd star, against bilan of all teams.
With this draw, Inter will need to win their next game against bilan in order for that to happen. Personally I don't see Inter doing that,

And that is my biggest dissapointment coming out of this game.

They know about it as some of them have mentioned it in interviews. The fact that they don't care to be historic is an issue...

Seems We suffer from lack of motivation due to atletico match but whatever it is, it's a concern to me bc every season there is a duration of time we are like this.
Idk the exact reason but i guess maybe fatigue and not having depth are the route cause of the problem.
If it is, management should find a way to fix it.

I personally don’t see it as such, I think much is simply also just being realistic, if your already tired you think about bringing the trophy home not some record most doesn’t even care about

Only one thing counts trophies, record I simply don’t care about, if we win with one point or 20 is for me irrelevant a win is a win.

Particularly in this game, Mkhitaryan was awful. Lubuntu had a two chances of the beginning of the match because of him. His passes were poor as well as his overall game.
2 mispasses. How did Frattesi do? Midfield collapsed after Miki got subbed.

He was beaten by Lubuntu twice in the first half, and the latter created two good chances. Mkhitaryan did literally nothing, except cycling the ball around. Our midfield didn't collapsed because of him gone, but because our players rushed to attack after the equalizers. Frattesi won a penalty.

Can Mikhy do no wrong in your eyes? I love Mikhy but there's no way you can objectively say that he has not been underperforming. Frattesi not doing well in our general build up play does not change that.

He had a 85 percent passing and midfield was great till he got subbed out. The fact that both goals were scored after he got subbed, tells you something. But you won't get it, because you hatred for him is over the top. Are you sure you are not his illegitimate child?

He did not do an awful job, as it was suggested.

I don't think that the problem was midfield but more that long balls to their forwards, that always caught off guard our defenders.

And I don't hate Mkhitaryan. I had praised him for our previous game, because he had deserved it, but yesterday he was poor imo.

Also, I'm not agree that Mkhitaryan would have had any impact on both of their goals.
They came after long crosses, and the second one was irregular anyway. Cagliari created some chances with long balls, while Mkhitaryan was on the pitch as well. They just couldn't converted them.

I don't understand, why you would put me in the ignore list, as I've never offended you. I just criticize Mkhitaryan sometimes, which is not even so often. Anyway, I really don't care at all, but it's strange to me that you got triggered so easily, when somebody criticizes your favorite player. It looks like typical 15 years old behavior.

If they are as tired as some claim to excuse their lackluster performances then they are too tired to go to the summer tournaments...

If they still go then its quite clear its not tiredness but a lack of total commitment.
I expect Inter players to at all times be totally and has not been the case since Atletico.

Records matter as far as legacy go. The reason the trap team is mentioned alongside the grande & treble teams is cause of the record season.
