I'm not really sure about this but I can just foresee that Mancini will continue using Stankovic as our left midfielder next summer. Technically, he won't play the role of a winger but rather a role similar to that of Zidane's in Real Madrid. His job is to cut in from the left to the center and try to get shots in. After all, when you cut in from the left to the center, you are most likely to use your right foot to either shoot or pass. Judging from last season, there were times where Emre was sacrificed and used on the right even though it would make more sense for Mancini to use Emre on the center or on the left. Also, Mancini's interview that says that Inter still needs a right winger further reinforce this hypothesis. Of course, I don't like this one bit as seeing how Deki is much better on the center than on the left.

What do we get Solari for then? I have no idea...

I can't agree more except that deki uck evry where he is not as a good Winger he can not cross propeRly with both feets and some times he keep wondering around not knowing what to do ..... I remmember Di Biagio in his last season for Inter was doing the same and Toldo came to scream at him and to fous on the game ...... and after that people realized how bad was he .... deki just disappear and is waiting for chance to make show but he does not really chase the ball like kara or Elchuchu he is no fighter like elchino but his talent cover this and deki is not thattalented bad drippling skills bad ball controll under pressure .............. :fero:

It seems that people are misunderstanding my post. It was just a hypothesis, ladies & gentlemen. Besides, there is every chance in the world that Deki will shine down the left. And I'm not trying to imply that Solari's purchase is useless. Solari's would only be useless if Deki is really used on the left.

He was really good. When playing both Verón and Pizarro; Verón seemed to have more defensive responsabilities while Pizarro was more the playmaker.
