How did I know? Went to a Live scores website & Smicer’s goal was a 40 yard lob apparently :sweeteye:

Smicer goal was from 8 yards...it was live match at Rai Uno...
Anyway Cruz has scored great goal.
Pizarro was having a superb match.

Forza INTER!

Greetings. ;)

We might have played a poor game for these reasons:

- Bordeaux's preparations are nearly over
- Ours have only just begun
- Lots of substitutions
- Our Captain, main striker and main midfielder are not yet available
- New players are settling in
- Mancini still has to find the right first team

Fabio ;)

The first thing I saw when when I went to Inter.it website today was a picture of Cruz dong a overhead kick. Amazing sight. Anoter win in our pre-season, I hope we played well. Glad to see Pizarro voted as Man-of-Match, and also for Martins scoring again. I think he has scored a goal against Juventus in the Trofeo TIM, right? He seems to be performing quite well.

P.S: Really, who is this Arrieta guy?

Moh and Jupiter, like its been said about 100 times lol. This Arrieta guy won a competition on a Reality Show to have pre season with a bit Italian teams, the other 2 winners went to Juve and Milan

Hmm, I thought that was a 26-year old defender, from what I heared, Arrieta seems to be a midfielder.

I am posting what Fabio posted about Arrieta in another thread (Thank God for Search engines :D )

Name: Christian Arrieta
Born in: Orlando (Florida)
On the: 18th September 1979
Height: 184cm
Weight: 77kg
Position: Defender
Other: Has played 120 games in Serie C2 with Varese, Mestre, Ivrea and Alessandria

So it was him after all! I saw him in the penalty miss against Milan, and he looked as young as those guys from the Primevera.
I like his stats, he seems to be a sweeper type, and I will keep an eye on him from now on. Who may need Samuel after all?

P.S: Was it mandatory for us to get a player from this show? Or we just chose a player and Juve and Milan did so as well?

Wonder whom Milan took, maybe the hostess of the show :dielaugh: Continuing on their recruitment of the summer.

Hostess? Why? ;) I'm sure the Milan "lads" won't be sexually nor physically attracted by her. ;):D:dielaugh:

Seriously, Milan took Marco Boriello's (Former Milan player) brother or something, if I remember correctly.

Nah, not for that. Nesta, Inzaghi, Pirlo, Kaka and now Hostess! For real, their players are the least manly players I have ever seen :yuck:

Yeah, I remember seeing the other Boriello in the US tour couple of seasons ago, wasn't that bad, reminded me alot of Corradi.

Ok, so I watched the game, and there are a few thing i noticed.

It was a very hard game, guys were really commiting lots and lots of fouls, this was not a "friendly" really. I remmember serius fights involving Stanko, Cordoba and Karagounis... all that mainly due to hard fouls and stuff like that.

Kily left the game because of an injury in the first half, and Solari came in.

The goal of Julio Cruz was amazing, really a beauty. (Although he was in offside)

It was extrange the way like how mancio play in the second half, it was something like this:

----------------Toldo---------------
Cordoba---Miha----Matrix---Wome
Solari-----Veron--C.Zanetti--Stanko
---------Karagounis------------------
--------------Martins------------------

Well, the cordoba on the right isnt important, because, well, il capitano would be there next season for sure.

But, he played a lot Solari on the right and satanko on the left, none of them impressed really, and karagounis was ahead of them, but a little bit to the right, close to Solari. And Martins as a forward.

At about minute 80th or something like that, Solari played on the left again, and stanko left the game. Oh, and cordoba to CB and Arrieto to RB of course.

In the second half we did not have a lot of goal opportunities, well except the OBA goal.

Finally, I hope kily injury isnt serious really. And I´m glad Mancini is trying different formations in this matches, He played the 4-2-3-1 for some time in the tim cup too, so I guess we´ll see that a bit this upcoming season...

True, but I wanted to know it from a person that saw the game. I heared that him and Veron played at the same time for a while, just wondering how they co-existed.

I wonder why does Mancini play them out of their positions? It´s certainly not first time from him to do that. Why on earth he doesn´t use players in positions where they´re in their best...

Rai Uno - :thumbsdo: as expected.

I wonder if it's a training thing. Maybe Mancio wants the players to practice using their weaker foot?
