Disappointing to not get the win after such an attacking and dominating second half but i think there are plenty of positives to take. In my opinion everybody but Kondogbia had a great game. Santon was his usual agitated self but that is about it. Icardi a little uninvolved but still had plenty of good touches and made a lot of good space for the wingers. Props to Rano for the solid display at the back but ffs you can't be blessed any taller than that in front of fucking goal.
Have to agree with this.Yes these are 2 dropped points but we had our chances and there are times when the ball simply refuses to go in.Since the Chievo game there has been constant improvements in our style and mentality.I would have been worried if we hadn't created those easy chances or if we had lost.Right now we are unbeaten in 5 league games and it is imperative we continue our unbeaten run away to Roma next.
I hope K-dog had picked up a slight niggle and doesn't lose confidence because of his early sub but the truth is he has had hs fair share of chances since arriving here and hasn't delivered. If this was a change made because of K-dog's lacklustre 25 odd minutes then De Boer sure is one strict mofo and the truth is some of our players deserve this kind of tough love.
Impressed with Ranlolchia and I was totally expecting a screw up from him sometime but since it came at the other end of the pitch , I can live with it .
Perhaps these dropped points will see us once again play with the same hunger and purpose against Roma as we did against Juve.
