Matrix is a must for this game. Bayern have tall players all over their team like Van Buyten, Lucio, Van Bommel, Makaay & Pizarro and definitely there will be an aerial threat for us. I think Mancio knows that quite well and therefore he rested Matrix today.

I also think that Ibra will come back to the starting line up to replace Adriano as he'll crazy to replace him with Crespo who has hit top form. Mancio will definitely bring on Maicon and will shift "Il Capitano" to midfield and we will play with the same formation we played with against Roma with only Figo coming in for the suspended Vieira.

This will be our toughest game so far this season, and winning it will give the team a huge confidence boost.

That is bias talk, u can't say that, Bayern Munich are a world class team and will be a tough match. It is too hard to predict, it all comes to our defence.
We need a solid performance from our defence.

I wouldnt say that, We should Underestimate the Opposition like we usually do. i.e.. Against Sporting Lisbon, Bayern Munich are Very Good but they have been struggling lately so we could Snatch a Win, We will beat Munich at san siro, We will beat Spartak Twice, We will BEAT Sporting in San siro, and we might have a Draw against Munich in the Away game. :nervous:

This is where inter really needs to be balanced from the goalkeeper up to the strikers. I think we need to play with a flat line as a base and have figo cut in here n there. But if we get unorganized, munich will punish.

Mancini needs to win a big euro team..its been a while.

Bayern,now isn't what it used to be,without Ballack the germans are dead!! They took Van Bommel from Barcelona,to replace Ballack ..but no chance..Ballack was the only player indispensable,and now is gone.
I disagree,when you say that they dont have a good defence,i think this line-up looks pretty well:sagnol-lucio-van buyen-lahm !!!
They suffer in the middle,ballack gone,and now owen is injuried.
The strikers are really good,i'm afraid of Podolski and Makaay,but im sure that cordoba or matrix can take them without any problems.

I don't think Santa Cruz scored more than 5 goals with Bayern each season. But knowing our luck, he'll finally be able to score. Remember Forlan? the guy didn't score for ages, but scored in the first 2 or 3 minutes with a lucky strike, in our stadium.
