Playing them should be easier than playing Barca..
but if we underestimate them, they certainly surprise us..

It's a 50-50 game. We need to respect them more than we do barca..

That's why this game should not be taken lightly in any way. Bayern deserve respect, we should not think it's all good because we beat Barca - This is the FINAL! And I believe every team strives to play their best football in the final!

Question do players who made a appearance in the cl get finalist medals as well or only those in the match day squad?? Want to know if the likes of viera,a.mancini and suazo gets something.:D

If we play to our ability we have a great chance to win the cl. Bayern needs to be respected but player for player we are better.

The reason I ask is because all three played in the group stages but were sold/loaned in january. So just wondering if those who played in the group stages get medals regardless if they left.

Bayern is definetly not the same team as Barca, and it will be a much different game.

Not taking anything from Bayern, especialy respect, but I think we are better than them, and we had to face 2 of the 3 strongest teams in the world, playing very different football. The odds are deffinetly on our side, and if we play to our pottential, we should win the cup.

One more thing about Ribbery. From what I know, he isn't the same player he was a year ago for example. I heard he isn't really a player that makes a difference for them in CL, and he wasn't exactly their main player in this campaign.

True, many say Bayern and esp Robben play better without Ribery. Apart from Robben and Olic another strong part of Bayern are the double 6 Schweinsteiger and van Bommel.

Ribery won't be playing, but i think, based on the few matches i saw of Bayern this season, Altintop is much more effective and better than him.

Yeah, it's just a blessing in disguise for Bayern and Van Gaal to not have Ribery available.

It will be a very interesting match for sure. We have to take the initiative and put pressure to their defence. Bayern's defensive game isn't too great so we should try to exploit that as much as possible. We should play a nice, compact defensive game with a courageous and foremost fast attacking.

This match is summed up in three pictures:

Some people are ignoring the fact that Lucio is angry at Bayern for disrespecting him

"I would have expected more respect from Bayern Munich. I will do everything I can to close my career in Italy at Inter. I do not wish to go back to Germany or Brazil." Lucio, Inter's new purchase, stated in an interview with 'Kicker'. Before his Italian adventure, the Brazilian removed the stones from his shoes. "Every coach has his ideas and this is normal," said Lucio. "But the way they were unloaded was disrespectful," adds Lucio. The captain of the Seleçao did not fall in the plans of the new coach of Bayern, Louis van Gaal. Hence, the decision to say goodbye to the Bavarian club in favor of a move to Italy. "I believe that I deserved a little more respect," continued the defender . "I would be happy if the coach had spoken to me before deciding. Yes, I am a little sad," he admits. "I spent some time with Bayern, I regret that it is finished, but that is football."

It's funny how Van Gaal kicked out Lucio although he actually likes his defenders to go forward

Meh, I don't really see what's so great about Van Gaal he was tactically dominated by Prandelli, he got his ass kicked by Ferguson but survived and he beat Lyon... I'm not really impressed, Bayern are a team of individuals not a squad like us but who knows what can happen in 90 minutes.

If we play to our ability we have a great chance to win the cl. Bayern needs to be respected but player for player we are better.

From the CL regulations:

Medals
5.04 Thirty gold medals are presented to the winning club, and 30 silver medals to
the runner-up. Additional medals may not be produced.

So is it 25 medals to our A-list squad and 5 medals to our B-list squad.

Guys in no way should you underestimate the opponent, just look at Barca ;)

Second we dont have a great record against the Germans and they do have a great coach. That said i think the key players there are Olic and Robben.Limit them and the shots from outside and you have a clean sheet.

I do hope that we attack and score many goals in this one and show the world what we are capable of offensively as well.

It will be a very well balanced game for sure with us having a bit of edge but that is what I am worried of. I hope we won't under.estimate our opponents and I am sure Mourinho will handle his squad.
