motta will miss this match but i think inter should appeal his suspension

Nothing is going to happen for sure. Then again, he did raise his hand to that height, which will not help Motta; however that shitass acted, as if he was screening for a top notch hollywood movie (wth is his name?).

I am also very happy that none of our defenders will be suspended for the final game. Motta will be easily replaced by Stankovic and I hope he plays well there.

It is great that it is Bayern in the final, even though they are playing their best football, especially in the Champs League. It is better to face Bayern than the likes of Barcelona/Man United. It should be an even game and hope we will prevail. I am pretty sure but still hope that our players wonÄt be over-confident in the finals. We must play to our level best if we are to win the final.

And damn, I hope we attack MORE in the final than we did today.:howler::howler:

I think my Dad could be a good luck charm for Inter. He left his native Italy in 1965 as a child only months after Inter won the European Cup for the 2nd time. He hadn't returned to Italy until earlier this season. :D

I know many before probably brought this up, but do you guys realize what this means? this is magical right here. Most of us weren't even born when Inter was last in the final, 38 long bitter years. And here we are, and we are with them. This is history and we better savor each and every moment of it.

Not to ruin our victory, but we technically still lost at Barcelona. :(

What can I say boys. I am supremely confident of winning this trophy.

I don't fear Bayern anywhere near as much as I feared Barca. After Pique scored I was very nervous and when Bojan's disallowed goal went in, the breath was knocked out of me.

Bayern's defence is as someone put it, fuckin dodgy. Badstuber? We can make a mockery of these tools. I don't rate Olic highly either. He is somewhat similar to Milito in the fact that he is an extremely hard worker, but his actual technical and footballing abilities are mediocre.

Ribery will miss the match, and we can shackle Robben.

Bayern are like us. Effective, physical and strong. But we are simply better.

I fear Bayern more than Barca. First, it's an one-off game. The Bayern players are going to play with the uttermost determination as much as we do. Second, their defence system is way ahead of Barca's. You can never count on a La Liga's team to be a benchmark.

Btw, as I mentioned in another thread, Barca's tactics is too obvious. Absolute possession. They are so eager to maintain control over the ball even if they merely run up and pass back. Frankly, how many times have you seen their attackers really attacking? I saw more Keita and Yaya Toure's shot than anybody else. (Let alone the goal came from Pique) Do bear in mind that Bayern, if they organize themselves, will be a huge threat to our final glory.

Having said that, we still count on Nyall.

Second, their defence system is way ahead of Barca's. You can never count on a La Liga's team to be a benchmark.

Whatever this system you are talking about is...

You can always count on Van Buyten making fuck ups, terrible terrible defender, and Demichilies isn't that much better either. Their defense has not looked impressive and quite leaky to some extent whenever I've seen them.

I'd think Barca's center backs Puyol and Pique are more solid and consistent than those two. But maybe I just haven't seen the good side of their defense at all this season? After all, I have only watched their knockout games this season, apart from the semis.

I'm more worried about their determination and their "never give up" attitude, but then we too have the same determination as they do. Still, we can't afford to be complacent at this point, and must do everything to take this trophy.

I have full faith in Jose and the team in making this happen.

I agree that Bayern pose a great threat to Inter and no one should take this match for granted. They've improved immensely as the year has gone on and could threaten even the best sides. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ribery's ban overturned either, three matches seemed excessive and he's already served one. Don't forget the head of UEFA is French either...

Inter have played two games worthy of a final now and its not uncommon for teams to get a bit complacent after such a physically and mentallty taxing encounter. I'm glad there's a gap bewteen the matches as it will give the players time to recover. On the plus side we have a brilliant coach who is sure to have the players read.

Man for man we're a better side than Bayern, and if we impose our game I don't believe they can match us. What an opportunity.

Guys get real. Barca is way above Bayern in every single aspect you can think of. They will still be hard and pose a great threat but by no means on the same level as Barcelona. We already passed the hardest test, it is time we reap our reward.

If we keep our mind straight and play our game, we will lift the trophy. Mou will be ready, mark Olic and Robben out of the game. Their defense can't hold against Eto'o, Milito, and Sneijder.
