I think we need to field our Strongest 11 in this match if we want to get all 3 points. They are probably the most dangerous opponent we will face all year in all competitions IMO. I think it will be very competitive match and a draw would be a tremendous result.

Ascoli are considered to be amongst Europe's finest and if we were to lose by a 1 goal deficit then I would be proud that the boys really put some effort into it. We should field 4 strikers and 2 defenders because it's our only chance of beating their world-class defense.

Rob, you kill me. :dielaugh:

Adriano has played 90 min vs Parma, 90 min vs Artmedia and 90 min vs Messina (we all saw how tired he looked) so I hope he gets back in shape this week and we can see the magical Adriano-Chino duo murder them.

I wouldnt mind resting important players who will obviously have their minds on the Milan game...Instead I would put the players eager to prove something or who would benefit from the playing time..

They can rest vs rangers. We need to close the gap . We need all our players ready for serie a games. The main guys can rest vs parma coppa italia and rangers.

I agree.

We've already qualified for the knockout stage of the Champion's League so why field our best players?

We need to close the gap as much as possible.

Hmm, I hope you won't have to eat your words Rob and Miike :D

Nothing is impossible with us, I thought we all knew this.

Anyway, it should be an easy win for us on paper. However, Ascoli don't seem to be total push-overs, and we did struggle agaisnt Parma at home.

Hamed if Ascoli beats us i'll change my avatar to something ridiculous like Milans logo or players ;)

I hope we field are best players against rangers maybe rest Adriano but play the rest. Not just because Fabio will be there but because I hate Rangers and hope we embarass them at home and ruin there chances of advancement.

We don't have to field the best team obviously but I would be pleased to see Toldo (last game?), Burdisso, Pizarro, Solari, Recoba...

MORE THAN YOU WILL GET TO SEE! :fero:

Fabio ;)

great news for Inter, Ascoli has lost possibly the best player in World Football. How Inter didn't manage to get their hands on this superstar makes me sick. Ascoli has so much depth though that they will not be effected even though they have lost the best player of the century. I'm having nightmares about this match. I honestly don't see Inter getting the 3 points.

The day we should fear mighty Ascoli is the day I become a Milanista. I agree with the others in saying we should field our strongest team. Let them rest against Rangers. Thank God TLN is showing this game. :star:

Ascoli's is still winless away from home this season too. I expect a clean sheet and a comfortable victory in Giuseppe Meazza, nothing less.

Lest we forget, Ascoli is the team who drew with Milan 2-2 in the opening day of the season so the team better not underestimate them and get complacent.

If we get one of those crappy half-assed 1-0 wins I'm getting wasted with my homies.

Peace.

Nice to see you guys mocking Ascoli, this is the respect we give to a team that takes away 2 points from bilan :) . They are currently 14 in the league table, and have only lost 4 games this whole season.

Saying all that, i still expect us to easily win this home fixture, But with Inter, U never really know. Yeah and I guess we have to play a full squad for this one.

Too bad we cannot play our full squad for the Rangers game, I really want to see Rangers get kicked out of CL :finger: , hopefully our second team will be able to do that. The good point is ( okay maybe only for me, Rob & Fabio :D ) is that we cannot play any Primavera player for the rangers game since they are not registered with UEFA
