Ajaxfan and AFCA 1900 thanks for come to this forum, i really enjoy reading u, i love Ajax style. too bad we can't see Sneijder in this 2 games, he is class class, one of the best midfielders of the world in the next future. Huntelar is great as a "9" but also Babel is great.
I would like you to give me some information about Maxwell, i have seen him play not very much times, i know he is a very talented left back, and i hope he can be our left back of the future.

this is the best formation for Ajax in my opinion:
--Pienaar/Mitea--Huntelaar/Babel----Rosales/Mitea--
---------------------Sneijder--------------------
---------------Lindebergh---Galasek-------------
-Emanuelson---Heitinga--Maduro----Trabelsi-----
-------------------Stelenburg-------------------

good luck ;)

Rosenberg
Babel is a talent, but nothing more at the moment. He's a little bit too arrogant, and he really has to work on a few points to make it at Ajax. His ballcontrol is very bad, and he ain't consistant enough. With some good training, he might be a good player in the future, because he has potential, but at the moment he's pretty useless.

Maxwell is a beautiful player, his technique is marvelous. The only problem is that he is not a defender. He could be very useful as a midfielder, or as a wingback if he doesn't have a real opponent.
Beautiful midfielder, but not a defender.

--Pienaar/Mitea--Huntelaar/Babel----Rosales/Mitea--
---------------------Sneijder--------------------
---------------Lindebergh---Galasek-------------
-Emanuelson---Heitinga--Maduro----Trabelsi-----
-------------------Stelenburg-------------------

This ain't the best formation for Ajax, that's for sure. Pienaar is a midfielder, he lacks speed and a cross for being a winger. Beside he's only rightfeeded, something that Rosenberg is not.
A midfield with Lindebergh and Galasek is so boring. Galasek is really at the end of his carreer, and he totally doesn't fit at Ajax. Maduro is more talented and has more offensive impulses.
So Maduro shouldn't play as a defender, simply because he is not a defender. He makes to many mistakes as a defender, and he doesn't have enough influense on the team. Grygera should be in his place. Heitinga and Vermaelen are more or less the same, so that doens't make much difference.
BTW Mitea is more al player you have to bring in the last 25 minutes, when the opponent is tired. That's the best way to utilize his speed. If he starts the match, he's normally a little bit too light, especially in Europe.

Oh my! This is the sentence I dreaded to read. I was having hopes on him to be a good two-way LB. We haven't had a great LB, since, hmm.... I guess Brehme!

It would be good if you tell us what you know about Maxwell, if you have more that is. Is he injury-prone? etc.

It's interesting that you have Rosenberg as your favourite player. We had a discussion about him, and he seemed allright, would have had at least a goal against PSV if it hadn't been for Gomes. Is he young and upcoming? It's hard to find info about Ajax players.

I dont know how bad his defence could be, but any instance, if his offensive game is good, atleast we wont be pushed hard on the left flank. With some italian defence 101, im sure he can improve his defensive game if its that bad.

Are you talking about Rosenberg, Khalifa?

Anyway, JZ should be able to take care of him. But JZ struggles a bit against big and physical striker like Zlatan, and the Swede looked big.

My worry is about our left-flank. Trabelsi should be pinned back and made to think twice about advancing. Hatem is truly one of the best wing-backs these days. Sadly I can't see more of him, I hope he joins EPL so at least I can see him on a regular basis :D

I was referring to Maxwell.

And Trabalsi is crazy man, he doesnt give up and his really a good defender, his game characteristics are like off maldini.Im not too worried about him pushing to tell you the truth, but its gonna be hard for our amazing strikers.

And your really worry should be where he ends up?You better hope not juvy, they hate zebina and are officially interested in Trabalsi, plus, with only roma on the compeition, seems like they will get him.

Oh man, say it ain't so. I love Hatem, he is such a gentleman, and everytime I see an interview of his, I admire him more. Such a down-to-earth guy.

I was trying to pitch the idea of buying Trabelsi by Barca to Oleguer :D And since he has an EU passport now, I hope he goes there.

Man I'm not the coach. It's the coach that decide how field his team. When our coach put 10 players on the pitch then what should I do? put 11 players?!! NO, I respect our coach decisions!!

Toss it up : just to remind you if you forgot , Adriano is available ;)
And yes , I agree with you on C.Zanetti .

But Veron must play + Cambiasso + Figo .
I don't know about Stankovic , but Mancini won't bench him . Thats for sure .

So my Line up :

Toldo
J.Zanetti - Samuel - Materazzi - Burdisso
Figo - Veron - Cambiasso - Stankovic
Adriano - Recoba

" I can't take any risks , Sampdoria is the only good game Wome played this season . This match may decide my career with Inter . I should try Wome more in other less important matches , if he proved that he improved , I may use him in bigger matches " . said Roberto Adnan to some journalist :p

Well as you know Maxwell had this bad injury on his knee, but for as far I can remember, he didn't have more bad injuries.

It's pretty easy:
If Inter plays against a club which plays in a 4-4-2 formation (which will be most of the time in Italy, I assume), Maxwell could be decent enough as a defender. Besides, he has a lot of space ahead of him, and he will use that as much as he can. Than you will see his perfect technique and his offensive skills (he had a beautiful cross before his injury).
But if Inter will play a club that prefers a 4-3-3 style of play, you'd better play with a real defender in his place. For example, Messi will make him totally crazy, but even the right winger of FC Utrecht could be a very difficult opponent for Maxwell.

Rosenberg is a cool guy, and a pretty good player for Ajax. He was bought as the new number 9 for Ajax, but the scouts saw that totally wrong. It's a nice striker in a 4-4-2 formation, when he can wander around a strong striker (like Zlatan, Adriano, Henry etc..), because he's very fast but isn't strong enough to be the only striker.
So Ajax uses him as a 'false' left winger, and I think he'll almost be the second striker next to Huntelaar tomorrow. If he plays like that he can be pretty dangerous, because of his pace, his powerful shot, and his good feeling for positioning.
It ain't a worldplayer, and he'll never be, but maybe he will be able to make the step to a topclub in the future (Arsenal could be a good club for him).
