What is it with Inzaghi and running certain old players into the ground. It’s always the guys in their mid 30s too. Dzeko, Mkhi, Acerbi. These guys never get a day off, then we wonder why injuries pop up or they start to look like absolute dog shit towards the end of the season.

We rotate guys in their physical prime like Bastoni and Barella constantly, yet somehow the old folks home can’t even sit against relegation battlers. Makes no sense.

I’m not even mad at Mkhi, I feel closer to him needing an apology if anything.

With that being said we HAVE to move on from him playing 3000 minutes next season.

Look at his stats objectively. The guy played 110 minutes. 87.7 percentage passing, 77 touches, 5 blocks , 27 carries, 2 tackles, 1 intercept. Now, look what you wrote.

The problem is with his carries, as he often wastes his good run with sloppy pass or decision. Yesterday was good example for that.
If we want to be competitive to the top teams in Europe, we need an upgrade of him. I don't mind him playing in serie A matches, but it's fact that Inzaghi is overplaying him. Next season he shall be rotational player.

What I bolded is not true. The Barella-Calha switcheroo is a thing that happened a few times this season before. It's how we play, a lot of times Barella and Calhanoglu are the last line when building an attack

Mkhitaryan was maybe my biggest disappointment over these two legs. Too lackadaisical to my liking, top CL games are not your random Serie A match. His game with the ball was not sharp enough.

Zielinski joining hopefully makes the situation with Mkhitaryan better aswell.
