Today is June 15th, it's the birthday of one of the classiest guys on FI and one of the reasons I was encouraged to join IF: Ziyad. He turns 72, I mean 27. I wish you a happy birthday man, and Sana Hellwa!

Michael Laudrup came to worldwide attention after inspiring Denmark's 6-1 win against Uruguay at the 1986 FIFA World Cup, but missed the shock EURO '92 triumph after a disagreement with coach Richard Møller Nielsen. With Juventus, Laudrup won the European/South American Cup. He later won the European Champion Clubs' Cup with Barcelona and ended his Spanish stay having won five league titles - four with Barça and one with Madrid. He also won the Dutch double with Ajax before retiring. He is now back in Denmark, coaching Brøndby, whom he guided to the Danish Cup in 2005.

Oliver Kahn
Date of birth: 15 June 1969

Kahn was voted top player at the 2002 FIFA World Cup as Germany reached the final, with the goalkeeper's form a crucial factor in their success. He originally made his name with Karlsruher before joining Bayern in 1994 and subsequently won the UEFA Champions League in 2001 as well as the Bundesliga and German Cup. Kahn was a member of the German squad at the 1994 World Cup finals but did not make his international debut until a year later. He became first choice after the 1998 World Cup, and later took over as captain of club and country. Still going strong, he is likely to be between the posts as Germany take part in the 2006 World Cup on home soil.

But the best present was definately the Coppa Italia :star: :star: :star:

May it be the first of many trophies to come.

By the way i was supposed to go to Italy for this game but my boss as some of you already know didnt allow me to take one damn day off and go for a long weekend. Anyways i celebrated here with those that love me alot and because i couldnt make it to the Inter game my GF made me a bday cake with Inter logo on it...The most thoughtful cake ever and the best GF ever...

My eyes teared up...The cake was soo beautiful that none of the other really nice and expensive things she gave me could make me take my eyes of it....To think that she researched Inter for me was just amazing (especially that she isnt into soccer)...I was really suprised.
