I thought I would start something about members' birthday. I will try and do it as often as possible, but anyone can and should do it. I will rely on that list that Han compiled, but I hope he updates it with posts from the interview thread.

Today is the birthday of Jake, he is 27 I believe, I wish him a happy birthday.

Now, let's see what happened in history, of course besides the great hisotric event of Jake's birthday :D :

25 April
• Anniversaries

Johan Cruyff
Date of birth: 25 April 1947
National team: Netherlands
Clubs: AFC Ajax, FC Barcelona, Los Angeles Aztecs, Washington Diplomats, Levante UD, Feyenoord

Cruyff was one of the most imaginative and innovative players of his generation. He joined Ajax at the age of 12, made his first-team debut at 17, his goalscoring international debut at 19 and went on to inspire Ajax and the Netherlands through most of the 1970s. Cruyff won the European Champion Clubs' Cup three times before moving to Barcelona for a then world record €1.3m in 1973. A year later he captained and inspired the Dutch to the FIFA World Cup final. In all he played 48 times for his country, scoring 33 goals. He won the Spanish league in his first season at Barcelona and secured a hat-trick of European Footballer of the Year awards.

Tarcisio Burgnich
Date of birth: 25 April 1939
National team: Italy
Clubs: Udinese Calcio, Juventus FC, US Città Di Palermo, FC Internazionale Milano, SSC Napoli (as a player); Genoa 1893, Cremonese US, Foggia Calcio, Pescara Calcio (as coach)

Nicknamed 'The Rock', former Internazionale defender Tarcisio Burgnich actually began his career with Udinese and Juventus, only to make his name with the Milan giants following his transfer in 1962. Alongside Giacinto Facchetti, Aristide Guarneri and Armando Picchi, Burgnich formed one of the most rigid defensive units ever witnessed in Italian football history, and played in an Inter team that won the European Cup in 1963/64 and 1964/65 under the guidance of coach Helenio Herrera. In total, Burgnich played 467 matches for the Nerazzurri, winning the Scudetto four times and the European/South American Cup on two occasions.

For Italy, Burgnich played 66 times for his national team, scoring two goals. One of Burgnich's goals came in the 1970 World Cup semi-finals against the Federal Republic of Germany, which the Azzurri won 4-3 after extra time. Italy were to eventually lose the final 4-1 to Brazil, with Burgnich given the unenviable task of having to man-mark Pelé. The Italian defender reflected: "I told myself before the game, he's made of skin and bone just like everyone else, but I was wrong." Two years earlier, Burgnich was a member of the Italian side that won the 1972 UEFA European Football Championship, beating Yugoslavia 2-0 in the final.

Happy Birthday Jake!

This topic reminds me that some forums on the net have a calendar function. I don't know if it would be possible, but it would be very nice, we could post birthdays and Inter-related events in there.

Anyone knows anything more about this?

Yeah, good point Frisko. That would be nice, we are bound to forget someone's birthday. This calendar thing is great, I don't know if it can be done though, a moderator would explain better.

Something like this maybe? I'm not sure if it could be integrated into this site. Maybe we could use a common calendar, even if not inside this site?

We could add members birthdays, Inter players birthdays, famous wins and so on...
