Can't believe people are willing to sell him. I mean, selling Hakan at this stage, is like giving up on winning. He has been fundamental to our success over the past few years, even bigger impact than likes of Barella, Bastoni and others.

I don't mind him selling him later, even if we won't get that much money, but not currently since we don't have an adequate replacement for that spot.

We would be disrupting entire concept of our game and likely will end up regretting, because Asllani is not even close to Hakan's level, and Barella doesn't fit there, Zieliski hasn't even been THAT good over past couple of years. I'm not even counting on Frattesi or Mkhi.

Being 30 years old is nothing these days. Players tend to last far longer as long as they keep strict training and discipline. It would be plain stupid to sell him now, I think. We don't have a Brozo to Hakan situation anymore. Sometimes I think some people take things for granted. We are winning titles, and we are likely to keep doing so, why ruin the momentum? Ffs.

he is our most important player. His position is extremely pivotal. There’s a reason why we ascended once Brozo did. Liverpool ascended once Fabinho came. With Rodri man city literally never lose. You can argue never having an elite holding mid is what held PSG back. Barella is a better overall player but Hakan is better at what he does best. If we sell him we are going to absolutely regret it. Hakan has skills you don’t just replace. And saying he’s 30 is bullshit because Mikhitaryan is 80 and was class for us and got ran into ground.

Could not agree more. This move, no matter who we buy with the money we get, our window to win gets smaller. This current core has 2-3 more years of being serie a’s best. If we go dicking around making moves for the sake of making moves we’re gonna find out quickly that’s always a bad decision

Wouldn’t budge for less than 55mil to be honest. Top 10 midfielder in the world probably at the peak of his powers.

Serie A is not good enough to obtain a player of Hakans quality. You have to develop players into it now like with Barella. Can’t buy ready made players. I honestly believe if we sell him there will be no reinforcement there. We’ll just give it to Zielinski or Asllani. With that being said, if Zhang were here he’d obviously leave but we have new owners so who knows.

Frattesi, Asllani and possibly Fabbian returning. We have adequate cover for him if he leaves. 60 M gets it done and would be hard to turn down for a 30 year old.

Absolutely none of those guys are adequate replacements for Hakan, don't kid yourself. You don't sell Hakan, replace him from within, and still try to sell people on the idea that we're competing for the Scudetto, all the while Juventus is making moves and haven't lost any players of value in the meantime.

Thankfully, I'm not worried that this is gonna happen, so there's that, but what you're suggesting, with all due respect, is nonsense.

The only 3 that I think is somewhat replaceable is Mikhy. Unless Rodri decides to be bored of EPL and wants to come to Inter, you so not sell Hakan fucking Calhanoglu.

Sell Hakan
Sell Dumfries

Buy Hakimi
Buy some midfielders and rotate Barella/Mkhitaryan and Asllani at CDM.

Hakan is great, but I really think out of the stars he is the one that's easiest to replace within current team and best timing. At 30 he is by no means old, but is probably peak value. And we know he is very driven for personal recognition, which could become an issue in the future.

I remember people said Brozovic was unsellable and many other player have been ”unsellable” in the past. But in real world every team changes players every window and no players is bigger than the club.

Hakan is our best player and one of the best players in the league/world. But selling someone like Hakan for big profit we can make other areas better and get overall team better.

Khephren Thuram migh be interesting option to look at if Hakan is sold?

Brozovic wasn't unsellable last summer. Of course football is dynamic, but I dont think you can compare this situation to Brozo sale but rather to Lukaku sale.

No one is unsellable, everyone has a price in today market and it seem somewhat unrealistic we would not cash in on a 30 year old if the right offer arrived. That said Bayern are generally cheap bastards so I don’t get why people are worried they never pay 50mil for a 30 year old in the first place
