I can see that. At least he is being a pro, like Perišić, putting his all on the pitch. I can respect players like that.

I wouldn't change him for De Jong or Kroos.
Only Rodri and not much more midfielders.

I don't know why, and this is not based in absolutely anything other than my opinion, but I have a feeling this guy would leave Inter in a milisecond should an opportunity come to move to Real, City, etc. I just have a feeling he would want to somehow prove himself to be the best in whatever.
I don't see any problem with that.

Since leaving Milan:

Milan: 1 Serie A
Hakan: 1 Serie A, 2 Coppa Italia, 3 Supercoppa, 1 CL Finalist, countless derby wins.

During an Instagram live of Inter Milan players Çalhanoğlu and Thuram with the club's President Steven Zhang.

▶️ Marcus Thuram: “President, you got us for €0!”

▶️ Hakan Çalhanoğlu: “A coffee costs more than us.”

▶️ Thuram: “We can have a gift.”

▶️ Steven Zhang, Inter president: “I knew it was a mistake this live.”

He has said himself that the club can decide what's gonna happen with him, ie. if an offer comes, club decides will he go or not (of course not to ANY club).

want to keep him but no big euro team will want him. It's only if some Arab team wants the best Muslim player and give him insane wages + us a crazy offer. Salah prob going to leave Liverpool this summer. Hakan can be another huge signing for them.

its just anything under 60+ million for him would be kind of dumb. He 30... has 2-3 top seasons left in him not like we have someone who can replace him on the bench

Yeah replacing Calhanoglu now would be extremely difficult or that's how it feels now. Asllani is not going to be that guy and I would not want a situation where we sell Calhanoglu and sign the replacement in the same window. Gradual shift would be the way to go but let's see.

Offer indeed would have to be big.

My issue is what younger player on much much much lower wages can we honestly get that can make an instant impact

I mean if the Napoli guy can replace him + we get enough money for a striker and some bench options.
